I've seen people comment about this kind of behavior before, and it didn't really register with me why it was a big deal.

Until there was some thread of marginal interest that I spent a while giving a serious answer to, and then it wouldn't save the thing after I burned my time on it because the thread was deleted. I was irritated by how I prioritized my time.

I do think it was a t*r thread.

The Star_Chamber™™ is the easy winner, Crowley, easy second.... T*R third...

As to the why?

StarChamber, obvious..... forum disinfecting. As for the others.... unexpected or not desired results?

browie: noun A thought or series of thoughts you have (generally late in the night) that seems extremely deep and important and causes much brow-rubbing as you tempt to explain it all in writing for the broad enlightenment of humanity... but then you read what you wrote the next morning and say, "WTF?"

When Tom Jones at Jrat got a nasty "cease and desist" letter from Patagonia attorneys he came out with a new Ratagonia T shirt with the Lawyer's letter printed on the back!!!

Perez: he is a jealous leg humper, and a disgruntled outsider of the Valley Elite (which don't exist by the way) and a loser in life. Why would he not follow around one of the most successful, pretty, charismatic, and witty Valley Boys ever, and not take any opportunity to try and jizz on my leg?

( I see his motivation.... sad as it is )

Dear Mr. Walling,

Pursuant to your request I have reviewed your case for damages resulting from infringement on the FISH trademark.

The potential defendant, one Lance Lynch, however, is judgment proof. Quite frankly, we have him by the balls on the merits, but victory in court would only result in a large number of vehicles valued between $0 and $1500 being transferred from his property to yours. There is no pot of gold at the end of this wolf-hating rainbow, and as such I cannot advise you proceed with a case, although it might provide a psychic victory just to hail him into court in California.

Sincerely,

Mr. Inside, esq.

So Russ (I'd email you but don't like that auto-reply thing) what did this guy do to you?
Did he diss your ledge because it didn't have a bench rest accessory for popping wolves from your bivy? (Actually I'd kind of like one of those, specially if it is good and short like he says, my Gramici literally would be a waste of space unless I had a lamp post with a hooker standing under it hanging along with me.)

In 1987 I installed a stereo in a POS baby blue VW pickup in the C4 parking lot.

The dude promised me two Friends for the install.

He was engaged to some chic named Susan, who was a ranger, living down at the Arch Rock location.

He said she was supposed to pay me, but I never found her, or him.

I am still looking for that Cactus Prick.

I have no interest in being in his presence, of actually touching him in any way, or in appeasing him at this point.

This is so sad, I am literally crying tears right now, literally. A would-be love affair is dashed onto the hard, jagged talus. An unemployed rock jock expresses his candid feelings to a cold-blooded seamster. Matters become complex, emotions run high, and one or more buttholes are left to feel violated in the wake of such tragedy. Now there is no turning back and avatars must be cleansed. One must ask what is gleaned from such torrid affairs of the heart?

From BD's website -

"In 2006, Black Diamond Equipment Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Black Diamond Equipment, was established in southeast China. It’s important to note that the manufacturing in China is being done in our factory. Black Diamond Equipment Asia is a Black Diamond built, owned and managed facility that is operated and staffed by Black Diamond employees. The manufacturing standards that we apply to Black Diamond Asia are identical to those that we apply to our Salt Lake City workshop: We pull test each piece of gear to half its rated strength at our Salt Lake City workshop; we do the same at BD Asia. Several units from each manufacturing batch are tested to destruction in our Salt Lake City facility; again, the process is identical at Black Diamond Asia. We rely on thoroughly documented systems and procedures to ensure the consistent quality and safety of every piece of gear we put our name on—we use those same systems and procedures at Black Diamond Asia."
