I've seen people comment about this kind of behavior before, and it didn't really register with me why it was a big deal.
Until there was some thread of marginal interest that I spent a while giving a serious answer to, and then it wouldn't save the thing after I burned my time on it because the thread was deleted. I was irritated by how I prioritized my time.
I do think it was a t*r thread.

or because life is transient, and some of you have a problem with that, you so get upset when things go away... but that's life.

I don't think CM Could or Would do a damn thing except buy a shirt. Its pretty expensive to hire a lawyer, though I guess getting a cease sales order isn't very expensive after that...

You know Russ. I really don't understand your concept of what was going on. I mean, I think you're a little dumb.
Maybe more than a little.
You got a lot of guys that like your trampoline. But there are a lot of makers of flat cots out there. So a thread comes up that purports to compare the various kinds of stretched nylon, and it gets a few posts, and a couple of your butt buddies come up with a weak, "Yeah I got a trout and I like it". Then the thread dies.
I come along and slag on the thing with stuff in good humor like its made for pygmies, the pee hole is sized for hermorphadites and it needs a can holder, and suddenly 25 guys pop up and say, "Hey its ok the way it is, we LIKE having our feet hang off the end". Then another 20 guys pop up and begin to argue that it DOES need a cup holder, like every cheap ass Chinese folding chair has for $10. Pretty soon you got 105 posts, and actually, your piece of crap begins to look pretty good, even if it IS unimproved and pretty much the same as when you started.
It was working for you. I really don't get your bitch, you can't buy better advertisement. You should have paid me. I figure you just ain't a very smart guy. It WAS working for you.
From my perspective you need a good enemy better'n you need another lukewarm friend. Its called marketing.
And you might think of upgrades. Nobody has any reason to buy a new ledge unless you make something new that they can be talked into buying. The old ones don't get enough wear to wear out very fast. I said I wouldn't bag on your ( )(deleted) gear any more and I really don't care anyway, plenty of people make good gear and som (... deleted some more)... Aww ( ).

Just got back...
Last night was the night of the dreaded goathead. So many flats I got to walk most of the way home. A nice night.
I see russel pulled a post or two, and didn't seem to come up with any stories, which only goes to show that he is faking, bluffing his way along. What was he going to say about Monday Morning slab??? I probably climbed it 30-40 times, what with using it as an approach to all the good friction routes AND sleeping on top of it, which happens to be perfectly legal as it turns out...
And the idea he could "sue" me for anything I say here is pure rotted bull too. This is a public forum dedicated to climbing that commonly discusses all manner of gear, both in humor and in serious. More pompass bull.

I have no interest in being in his presence, of actually touching him in any way, or in appeasing him at this point.
This is so sad, I am literally crying tears right now, literally. A would-be love affair is dashed onto the hard, jagged talus. Could some of his merchandise use improvement? Perhaps. But that is TRUE of ALL companies and their products...
Posting the sh!t you did, and implying that his SLINGS/gear is dangerous is a fuking JOKE at best...
I feel CONFIDENT that a VAST majority here, feel the SAME about Fish Big Wall Gear and the products it produces...
