Hey guys, me and a friend are heading up the Nose over the long weekend coming up. Is a portaledge advisable in case of possible crowding? I may end up bringing it and stashing it if its not needed. I would certainly prefer to not bring it but would also prefer a good nights sleep.
Thoughts?

True enough. I'll bring it and stash if needed. Thanks.

There is a rumor that one of the gyms back East (StoneWerks? RockWerks?) is filming an educational piece on aid climbing, on the Nose, that whole week. Something to loop in the VCR above the juice bar at their gym and as a promo for their "intro to aid" class. Fairly big production with some top shelf personnel.

Hmm. That could be a pain. Are you referring to Aug. 30- Spet. 5 or Sept. 6-12. Either way I'm expecting crowds.
Thanks for the heads up.
