That's awesome, dude.

Cheers! Keep taking 'em out, looks like they dig it. My dad did that a lot with me when I was young; camping, fishing, etc...

Kids just really seem to dig the larger playground that is the wild outdoors. How can they not like that, it's inherent in the human condition I think....until you have to get a job.....

Kid's say it best,

One of the reasons I still climb, probably still think I am a kid

Way to go!!!!!!

Wicked awesome!

Taking my five year old boy and 20 year old daughter to TM in a couple of days... can't wait! The twenty year old started doing this stuff when she was less than three!

Wow! What a great trip to my favorite place anywhere. At long last, my two daughters (6 and 10) and I will be arriving on Sunday the 23rd for their first outing there - 5 nights. For me, it has been a 10-years-too-long hiatus.

Fletcher, that should be cool!!!!!!

Jesse, yep, that should be cool. SHit, having a dad as a climbing ranger though....don't get too technical on 'em!!!!!!

Awesome nutjob! Being in the mtns with the kids is the best.

I'm in the bay area and always looking for climbing parents for tag-team cragging.

Tomo

P.S. 5 years old is a perfect age for roped climbing. They are little monkeys at that age.

Great pictures; great kids. Sigh.

Is there a support group somewhere for parents of children who don't like to climb?

My son's 14 now: two or three inches taller than me, and probably 20 pounds lighter. Eight-pack abs. One-armed pullups. He could be a GOD of granite. The ultimate rope gun.

But it's just not cool. He's a skater. Tre flip over a six-stair is where he finds The Gnar.

Whaddaya gonna do.
