Thanks to everyone for coming to share your memories and thanks to Brutus for providing us all with so many good ones.

I'm sorry that I couldn't make it to the Stone House and that I didn't have more time to visit with everyone.

Let's keep sending our best thoughts to Em as she continues to work through the reconstruction of her day-to-day. We all loved Bruce, and we love you dearly too, Em.

Will load up photos from the amazing weekend tonight. Dingus, where you at?? Post up bro! So great o be with you all as the spirit of Brutus swirled around us at Stonehouse!! Bob Harrington singing and strummin' 'the Bristle Cone Pine' tugged at my heart.

I never had the privelage of meeting Brutus. I can tell he was a good man though.

Surrounded himself with quality people too!

It was just such a moving experience to spend the day with you all on Saturday. Here's the link to a slideshow from that day.

Beutiful, Jerry.

We went to go see the Bristlecone Pines on Sunday, so your choice of background music was especially meaningful to me.

Brilliant, and poignant, Jerry that expresses that day and much beyond better than I would have thought it could be conveyed.

A slightly different take on Bristlecone, but I think if anyone wasn't there they certainly get the idea.

When are you going back to those constellation climbs?

Perhaps we can get Bob to record the song for us. He did such a beautiful job.

Jaybro- great hanging with you. Might go back up this week.

Thanks Jerry, I'm not sure if the pictures or the music moved me more.

Such a memorable weekend, remembering a great friend in a gorgeous location, meeting existing friends and making new ones.

Wow Jerry, I'm choked up all over again... Beautiful work. The quickly sequenced shots are very effective. I learned that song off a Charlie Sizemore disc, where it gets a much more bluegrassy treatment, high and lonesome, gives me chills. The one you found on itunes is very nice too.

Kathy, that's Will's Guild D-25 that I'm playing. I guess it shoulda been the Bristlecone, but I don't think I would have gotten authorization to toss it in a haul bag and carry it up there.

For me, it was a fine and fitting tribute to Bruce to make a bunch of great new friends. The generosity that was such a signature of Bruce continues on.
