it's Werner's birthday? really? i would have expected at least an eclipse or something on that scale.
i really dig the Werner. never climbed with the man, and (to date) haven't needed him to rescue me. met him, just briefly, a time or two. no reason for him to remember. but he surely struck me as a dog's dog. ok, this dog's kinda dog.
