One Step Beyond!

The thing to do

is to climb through

all of the loss and pain

the basic impulse is electrified

clarified!

pushing us up

through the crux

and we feel that singular moment

singular movement

a stone's move away

could be forever

Here's to the days of seeing Bachar cruise the ski track in Josh everytime we went there. So effortless, so smooth. An amazing athlete/climber. You will be missed, JB. Slick W

Yessss, I know that's right!

I'll try to get my Bachar vidio footage together, it doesn't involve climbing, just John as a person!

My sh#t is so scattered!

I don't know ....to me "bummed" is like losing your weed, green or lucy lettuce or whatevah. Losing a friend and climbing Dude like Bachar is stomach wrenching sick.

The pics are great. So cool to have a connection through the eye. Struggling over too much loss over past year plus. lrl

hey there blitzo.... oh, blitzo... say, please, yes, i understand the feelings of lost friends, and such... and even feeling down... :(

but say, dear one... take each day at a time, and make sure in your heart that you have used that day, with no regrets to haunt you... and make sure that you have smiled at yourself in the mirror, for day well done...

and make sure that you have shared that smile or a handshake...
or---your pictures, done with skill, to makes folks hearts here, reflect on those buddies, as well, or on a climb of their past, well done...

and then, keep your heart at peace with the MAKER of all things, and you will do well...

yes, we all do die some day... and seem to die to soon... but you know, we are like a garden of flowers or trees, and we all LEAVE SEED, and we all produce fruit, and it is all different, coming at different times, after different cultivation... thus, our "plant" dies accordingly, at different times, as well...

god bless to you this night, blitz.... hang in there, and keep trying to flourish... and make sure to find a smile for yourself, too.... :)

man thanks for posting some great photos and great memories.. it is a very sad day for so many of us who were lucky enough to share the rope or go bouldering with JB.
his passing has crushed me more than i expected and it makes me realize how short life is..

i am fortunate to live the life that climbing brings and to share the adventures i have over the years with so many great people is worth more than all the riches in the world..

Damn, I must have been smashed last night! I don't remember posting any of this.

With the becoming photos that lockn00b and Re-Todd post of me, I may just go pull the plug!

Maybe I'll put some more on later.

I need to dig a waterline now.

locker, I'm tending to the compound still, but we could maybe go somewhere on Thursday, for a few days. The east-side would be cool.
