The SCC is now 37 days away from our closing on the 25 acre tract at Steele, Alabama. The crag has been closed for 20 years and climbers are purchasing a chunk of it and re-opening it to the climbing public.

as of May 17 --

To date we have raised $35,182 in donations and pledges towards our goal of $57,000 for the cliffline at Steele. We need $21,818 to finish our purchase of the crag at Steele, Alabama.

62% completed towards our goal. We close on June 24th -- 37 days from now.

You can help us by donating online at:

every dollar counts

more info on Steele at:

Help us make climbing history as we purchase and re-open a closed crag.

thanks for your support and help.

Easy to Donate. It feels good to help (even in a small way) to buy a crag.
