So how is yor boy doing, Dr. F? You proud???

Is he not Marxist enough for ya? Maybe we should keep taking 'rich' peoples money and give it to you and your welfare buddies?

Maybe that way you could buy some more pot and raise cacti w/o making a profit. Kinda like subsitized farming, my fellow Kulak.

You seem a little ornery, bluering! I guess it's hard to come to terms with the fact that literally 1 month after the election Republicans are happily racking up billions more in debt in the name of tax cuts for the uber-rich. I can't blame you for being bitter, but it's too bad the only way you know how to verbalize your frustration is to attack other people. I'm sorry your bed isn't as comfy as you had thought.

Guys I think he sent an email to Obama once too. That basically makes Obama a child molester.

Do you understand anything? It's not that the current rates are 'costing us', it's that based on the current rates the Gov't is over-spending. THEY ARE SPENDING BEYOND THEIR MEANS!!!

So you want to just tax the "uber-rich" and leave all the other tax rates the same?

That's a tax on the rich, Johnson!

I see. So it's ok to borrow 100's of billions more dollars to continue creating the illusion of tax equality by not raising taxes on a specific income group. Now I understand!

Here's what you don't seem to understand, even though we've tried to beat it into your head for years now. Those richest people are the ones who have GAINED ALL THE INCOME. Meanwhile, the income for the rest of us has actually GONE DOWN. I think it's fair to allow tax cuts to expire on people who KEEP MAKING MORE MONEY while the rest of the country KEEPS MAKING LESS MONEY. That's not a terribly difficult (nor at all unfair) concept to grasp.

When the tides start rising and falling equally, the taxes can change equally. Until then, the people who are actually doing well by our system should be asked to actually pay more for it.

I just want to repost this post by bluering because I'm still marveling at its idiocy:

I think I might repost it every day or so just to remember that it exists. The best part of it is that it points out the obvious problem (spending beyond means) and then just 2 sentences later forgets that that problem exists. Amazing.

HDDJ, don't you see that the 2 Stimulus Bills have failed, except at wasting taxpayers money? Any you want to pay for it by raising 'rich' people's taxes?

Why not keep the taxes the same and repeal the stimulus bills?

Tax and spend does not work in theory, it stifles growth. Especially when the spending is frivoluous. You solve nothing except draing the economic stimulators, the rich.

Of course, you think differently. The rich have an obligation to 'give' back to the poor through taxes and welfare benefits at their expense.

What kind of sociaety does that create? One of rich and poor, no middle class, eventually.

Stalin did this too. Worked real well. It actually enslaved the prosperous farmers and turned their country into starvation and a 2 class system. Rich and poor.

Kulak....(and, no, that is a fact, it ain't an idiotic Beck chackboard session).

We're not borrowing on their inequity. We're borrowing on our SPENDING!!!

Obama just wants to pay for his ideals on the backs of the rich. Is that fair? Did the rich not pay their fair share already? No, Obama wants them to fund his Marxist pipe-dreams, dude.

You guys are so funny with your "Obama is a marxist" diatribe.

The guy closest to being a Marxist in the Senate spent the entire day filibustering Obama's tax compromise.

But whatever. Don't let propaganda get in the way of actual thinking.

1. Apparently most economists disagree with you pretty heartily.

2. If that is your opinion then why aren't you more upset about this bill? THAT is my whole point. This bill is another giant round of stimulus. It is a huge package of sh#t that Republicans said they were AGAINST AT ALL COSTS tied up with a ribbon of tax cuts for the wealthy and that apparently makes it allllll cooool. The Tea Party should be burning down Mitch McConnell's house right now. Instead all I see are idiots still so high from winning a few seats in Congress that they don't seem to care that everything they said they just stood for just went up in kerosene.

It's the literal equivalent of Democrats voting to invade Iran a month after the 2008 election because Bush decided to raise welfare rates.

I just call them like I see them, dirtbag. It's redistribution at it's core. His Stimulus has done nothing but help his cronies at the expense of ,laregly, the middle and upper class, in the guise of 'helping the poorist Americans'.

It sounds cool and sanctimonious to most, but f*#king look back at how Mao and Stalin, et al., did their work.

It wasn't until after the sh#t hit the fan that people woke up and rejected it. Fortunately, we have a somewhat free-press and internet (that you probably hate) that can stop this before it takes hold.

Obama, I think, is starting to realize this too. Hence, his latest pussifying staements to back of his agenda. He has over=stepped, and he may realize that he's been exposed.

Enter Bill CLinton...

EDIT:

1. Apparently most economists disagree with you pretty heartily.

On your second point, HDDJ, I say the Repubs should haven't have bargained at all.

Tell Obama to either pass the current rates, or f*#k off.

I do not support estate taxes, unemployment extenstentions, etc...

Let Obama make the call on whether to raise EVEYONES taxes. Do not bargain on this.

Listen to yourself. Is it o.k.?

I never condoned it under Bush. It's an inherent problem in gov't. Hence, the Tea-Bagger movement, like it or not. They are fiscally conservative.
