Next Sat., Friends of Josh is having their monthly movie night with guest Chris Lindner. The location is Park Rock Cafe, which is 2 doors down from Nomad's climbing store. The show starts at 6:30. I saw his show last year;...it was awesome. If you are out climbing next week-end, plan on attending;...this is something you won't want to miss...Chris is one of the best climbers on planet earth, and he's got some excellent pictures, movies , and stories to tell.......Support your local climber group, and support your local homeboy climbers too. See you there.......

From what I understand, ...this show has been changed to another date, and Dean Fidelman will be doing a show instead;.....7:00 at the Park Rock Cafe in Joshua Tree, two doors south of Nomad's. It will be an adult show, and will include Stone Nudes, Stone Monkeys, and climbers on and off the rocks. Dean is one of the climbing world's top photographers, and has been "living the life" for many many years. This is a rare opportunity to see photos of the world's best climbers as seen through the artful eyes of master photographer Dean Fidelman. Price is 10 bucks, which includes drink, popcorn, and raffle tickets......usually I walk away with way more than 10 in raffle prizes......so the fee is nothing really. Support Friends of Joshua Tree, local climbers and artists, and your climbing community. See you there......
