My first ever post here! Wohoo!
Well, pardon me please the blunt topic heading.
After months lurking, I decided to join and voice my opine be they popular, or likely...not.

I am Lafta--- A play on NAFTA, which was a sell out of North America.
Look to Canada, U.S. and Mexico soon under one gov't/currency as is Europe today. Look to the dollar soon being devalued to less than half. Look to the AMERO as the common currency for the 3 countries. Go ahead! Google: Amero.

Both wings of the U.S. government are of the same bird.
Ask yourself why Obama has included Republicans in his cabinet.
Do you know Kerry and Bush are distant cousins?

Ask youself why Kissinger, Blair and Carter are still involved in politics.
Could there be a parallel government?

Ask youself why nothing is being done to stem the flow of illegal immigrants.

Your new god Obama will *not* withdraw troops from Iraq. If anything he will transfer some of them to Afghanistan. Matter of fact, Obama is on record saying he will put more troops in Afghanistan.
Why is he keeping all the executive orders made by Bush? Wiretapping, torture, etc. , etc.....check!
He said he would repeal the Patriot Act. Nope. *Changed* his mind

Really people! Look who he has appointed to defense secretary!

Bernake has recently asked for more bailout money for the banks.

Rahm Emanuel has recently hinted at a draft.

Ask yourself why Bush, in October struck down posse comitatus?
Could it be because *they* expect there to be bank runs and mass hysteria when the dollar is devalued?

Basically it comes down to this.
Worldwide, the government is owned by 13 or so of the world's richest families including the Rothchilds, Rockefellers, British Royal Family, the Vatican, amoungst others.
Others of influence include the Illuminati and Bilderbergs.
http://www.freewebs.com/tonysomers/index.htm

The Illuminati/Bilderberg, New World Order scum have stepped up their attacks to institute a one world government as spoken by Bush senior numerous times.
If world leaders speak of a new world order, do you not think it will someday be?

Their ultimate goal is to reduce the population of useless eaters by 85%.

: Mercury in vaccines. Eventually, look to mandatory inoculations.
: Fluoride in drinking water. Fluoride is a byproduct of aluminum.
: Pushing poison GMO food on us.
: Sterility rates are rising as are all forms of cancer.
: Radioactive cell phones.
: Population reduction with war, AIDS/SARS and numerous other man made diseases.
: An increasing Big Brother society. Note cameras...everywhere?
: Prozac for kids. Whaaa? You're giving speed to your children?! The same children in whom autism is rising due to increased vaccinations?
: Media manipulation. You think the news you get from tee vee is honest? Bush struck down posse comitatus-- THE FIRST BRIGADE HAS BEEN DEPLOYED IN AMERICA. WHY ISN'T THE MEDIA COVERING IT?
: Imploding the economy. 5 trillion dollar banker bailout, housing collapse, automakers collapse.
: Eventual mandatory implanted RFID chip.
: Look to internet censorship as is now the case in Austrailia.
: Get out of debt. Look to spiking credit card interest rates.
: False flag terror attacks. 9/11, London bombings.
: A controlled society modelled after China.
: Nazi style FEMA camps. Go ahead! Google: FEMA camps. Prescott Bush financed the Nazi regime!
: The CIA (el-CIA-da) traffics cocaine and heroin. Tens of thousands of troops in heroin producing Afghanistan, yet one never hears of eradicating the poppy fields. Strange is it not, Bush senior was once head of the CIA?
: Carbon dioxide taxes. Sure a tax on CO2, levied primarily on fossil fuels including oil, coal, natural gas, LPG and gasoline is a good thing. In the future they will tax us....for breathing.
Matter of fact, the entire environmental movement is a means to control us. Notice they don't call it global warming any longer?
The earth is actually cooling.

Turn off your television! There is a reason they call them programs.

Ever wonder why the contents of the 3 black boxes found from 9/11 have never been disclosed?

Canned meat Spam is gooooood! So get used to it.
Count on another false flag attack, be it a financial 9/11 or other.
Count on martial law being implemented.
Look to a one world religion headed by the Vatican.
Look to Tony Blair as president of the European Union. Funny, he just converted to catholicism.

WAKE UP!

I just want to know this:

Is this supposed attack going to happen or not? The tinfoil hat crowd has been saying that GWB has planned an attack on the US that would allow him to stay in office indefinitely. But he's running low on time. Only about 3 weeks to go.

I have my own tin-foil hat issues to contend with. Still, all those statements and links have been cut n pasted time and time again. No comment(I've commented time and time again, before).

My question, to the OP - and it is a serious one - is: What are YOU going to do about these changes on the horizon you tell of?

I already know what I am doing.

If any of this is anywhere near true (and I'm not say it is not)... Then the best plan of action would be to just take it easy, relax, and maybe enjoy this life while we have it. There is no savior, there is no hereafter, we're not going to a better place and we cannot be forgiven. So live that way and make this life the best life we'll ever have.

Milton foresaw all this almost 400 years ago. Even put it in writing in Lycidas. Post apocolyptic horror from the 17th century...

"The hungry Sheep look up, and are not fed,
But swoln with wind, and the rank mist they draw,
Rot inwardly, and foul contagion spread:
Besides what the grim Woolf with privy paw
Daily devours apace, and nothing sed,
But that two-handed engine at the door,
Stands ready to smite once, and smite no more"

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions.

Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will.

If that’s the charge, I stand guilty and I am proud of it. "

Welcome Lafta

One thing's for sure. Nobody knows the whole big picture and I have no doubt that the commonly accept mainstream media perspective isn't accurate.

Knowing that we don't know is closer to thinking that we do. Knowing that we seek the truth in the darkness is a good thing but we shouldn't be too arrogant about thinking we've got it figured out.

For example, I can convert amino acids from common plants and animals into protein, and also manufacture glycogen from simple foods. Doesn't qualify me as a biochemist but there's plenty of evidence I do amazingly complex interrelated tasks at a high technical level

To do list:

Get out of dollars and into Yuan. This is assuming you were smart and already have @ 20% of your assents in gold that you bought when the bank of England was unloading it and the price was $280 an oz. Real gold and in smaller denominations for ease of carry and transactions, like Eagles or Krugerands, if not, start there. (Jim Rodgers recently had an article dealing with no dollars/all Yuan, it's not an original thought of mine. Warren Buffet did this last year BTW, read it here: http://www.reuters.com/article/GlobalHedgeFundandPrivateEquity07/idUSN1043707420070411);. Buying Chinese stocks may be an easy way to do this, easiest may be a China fund by a mutual fund. Chinese stocks are down 61% this year! Chinese Mfgs are rolling hard, even if they do have structural banking issues. Maybe split it 50-50 with another country like india, that way an invasion of Taiwan ad China embargo won't totally hose you.

Stock up on food. The Mormons have some great info on this, or you can take the easy way out and just get some Mountain House #10 sized cans. These taste good, are super easy to cook (just add boiling water), are nitrogen sealed and will store for 25-30 years! (Karst sports has good pricing: http://www.karstsports.com/); Don't buy the backpacker sized pouches as they only last 5-7 years. This is damn frustrating if you are not an organized person and you put them away and forget about them. Then when you rotate them out, ie. use them after their expiration date, they will taste worse than sh#t.

Put an emergency kit of various sh#t you'll want if it hits the fan together, like iodine tablets, flashlights, food, sleeping bags and water purification pumps into a separate box you can grab and go in a emergency. If the power goes off: grab and go as it may be a precursor to something big. We don't know what our enemy's have for military weaponry. They are working on Nanotechnology and EMP pulse weapons which won't be public till after the next war. Needless to say, if after some rising international tensions the power goes out, and you chose to just sit in the dark and ignore it: kaboom. You won't have phone service either as it will be one of the first to get hit and wiped out.

Have a real good safe, a big gun safe that is fire rated, bolted down to cement. If you grab and go and you get looted, you'll have a chance of coming back to something. http://www.cannonsafe.com/safarisafes.nxg Wrestling a 600-1000 lb safe loaded with 300-500# more metal like ammo and guns out of your house will be next to impossible. Have a smaller, second wall safe, hidden elsewhere anyway, split your stuff 50-50. That way a tweeker with an acetylene torch won't break the bank.

Guns and ammo sound good, but if they get banned or restricted, you may be in for a big loss if you get caught. So get some anyway, - probably a 5.56 M15 and a good stainless steel (cause you'll be living in the dirt and don't want it rusting).45 and a 9mm with a few thousand rounds of ammo, but don't get crazy. Buying FTF will keep it off the grid. Go to AR-15.com, Glock talk or the firing line and look for a sale in your area. High cap mags will be restricted, so get some of them now with your purchase. Of course, arguably the single best weapon to have is a pump action 12 ga shotgun. Very reliable, inexpensive and more versatile than any other single weapon. Most likely be the last firearm restricted. I had bought a Remington for like under $200, loaned it out to a friend like 3 years ago and haven't seen it since. For survival, it will take down anything from a bird to a buck and still be a personal defense weapon unparalleled if you just change the shells from birdshot to buckshot (or use Rhodesian Jungle shells of mixed sized shot).

Buy gas masks for you and yours. Make sure the filters are new and current.

Keep writing to you congressmen and senators on these structural and freedom issues.

Cross your fingers and hold your breath. If the sh#t rolls: treat others like you would want to be treated and we'll all get through it together.

You quote my words and consider it wacked? Might I suggest you do a quick search on this? Some of us have a search engine called "Google", it is amazing but it will find all kinds of interesting articles and news if you enter those search terms. Let "Google" be your friend before you call bullsh#t. You don't have a clue what we have or what they have. I don't either. Yet we are spending billions of dollars on developing these weapons and more. So are the Chinese.

Frankly Khanom, I'd heard over 10 years ago that the army was developing a secret weapon which would kill masses of people with a wide area beam of energy. My source called it a "death ray". I considered it bullshit at the time. Now it turns out, that the Army has announced a "Non-lethal" version they call the "Active Denial System" which will be deployed soon, and probably be used on US civilian protesters soon enough. I say "Non-lethal" because there is eyewitness testimony that they tested it often on herds of live goats and it was lethal to goats.

There's apparently a switch that they can crank it up a few notches. Could it be used to kill thousands of grouped protesters at some point in the future? Yes of course, but the chances are infinitesimally low. Could it be deployed in a version of the Iran/Iraq war where the scenario was massive waves of Iranian soldiers running directly at fortified defensive positions? Of course. How about in the West Bank? Probably in it's "Non-lethal" variant. Google it. Google around....check the truth. One of the earliest mentions, 4 years ago, on the internet was this site: http://www.why-war.com/features/. It's easy to dismiss them as wackos, yet they nailed this one before any regular news organization.....what does that tell you? The CIA spends millions of your money to control the press, hows that for a wacko idea? A non-free press? Yet it's true, google "Operation Mockingbird". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mockingbird If you don't think that kind of thing is still happening, check this out about the CIA black budget. http://www.american.edu/salla/Articles/BB-CIA.htm Mind you, I'm very Pro-American- more than most folks I know. But I'm also pro-constitution, and some of this sh#t bothers me. True - I want us on top internationally, and I realize that you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs......but sh#t, some of this is way over the top. It's all about control. Of you Khanom. And me.

Interestingly, a conductor between you and the beam will stop it and render it ineffective. Tinfoil hats anyone?:-)

Yup, it's hard to find the line where suspecting what we aren't being told ends and conspiracy begins, but it's madness to think the military just researches conventional means of killing and dominating.

The military industrial complex spends billions and billions on research and hardware, and that's not including covert programs. Why wouldn't they research ways to kill folks in stealth and undetectable ways? Shoot, if I was president, I'd order them to do so.

The problems really begin if somebody is corrupt enough to use these toys on problem senators and such.

Since we're talking conspiracy, here's a right wing republican that claimed other right wing republicans were set to kill him and then dies in plan crash. Seems like flying private plans is super dangerous to politicians as many have died in recent years in crashes (Wellstone, Kennedy and more)

Allezallez I thought LAFTA was Patrice, who actually became a pretty good friend of mine. But LAFTA email address is telemark15 and Patrice does not tele. But they are cut of the same cloth, Patrice being much more intellectual but just as virulantly anti-american. Google Patrice Ayme. Both claim Prescott Bush helped finance Hitler's Germany, could be true. Patrice claims to be an ex.13 badass climber. Dave Altman has known Patrice from UC Berkeley math dept. back in the day. I asked Dave and he told me "Patrice had been bugging me to do the Steck-Salathe and I agreed if I did all the leading. I placed one piece of pro on every pitch so Patrice could not pull on anything. When we summited, he just laid down for 10 min without moving". Hilarious. Altman is BADASS.

BITD I worked at Wilderness Exchange, sold a lot of tele gear. I remember Patrice ("french mullet guy" is always how I referred to him) came in and went on a 10 minute rant about the merits of randonet skiing vs. the tele set up. Being an ex-snowboarder I could not have cared less. He certainly did not endear himself to the other employees however.

edit: the guy is classic though...he couldn't look more European if he tried. I'd peg him for German though...like one of the ones who got stuck in east Germany.

In October 1942, while young George was in flight school attempting to save his family honor, the US government prosecuted both Prescot Bush and Bert Walker (our current President's great grandfather and the source of the "Walker" in his name) under the Trading With The Enemy Act.

While this country had been floundering in the Depression they had been investing in Nazi Germany's rearmament through a number of business fronts they had set up for their clients.

George Herbert Walker And Prescott Bush
Funded And Directed The Military Industrial Complex
Behind Adolf Hitler And The Nazi Revolution

by Webster G. Tarpley and Anton Chaitkin
from George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography

The grandfather of President George Walker Bush (Skull & Bones, 1968) was Prescott Bush (Skull & Bones, 1917), and his great grand father was George Herbert Walker. Prescott Bush and George Herbert (Bert) Walker were directors of the London-affiliated New York banking house of Brown Brothers-Harriman and its various fronts, which funded and directed the military-industrial complex behind Hitler and the Nazi revolution.

In 1919, George Herbert Walker had organized W.A. Harriman & Co which merged with the British Brown Brothers in 1931. In 1924, Averell Harriman (Skull & Bones, 1913) and Fritz Thyssen, the German industrialist who began funding Hitler in 1923, set up the Union Banking Corp in New York to handle funds supplied to it through Thyssen's Dutch bank for American investment. Prescott Bush, who had been an officer of the W.A. Harriman bank since 1926, was a director of the Union Banking Corp from 1934 through 1943. According to government documents, "all of the shares of the Union Banking Corp., were held for the benefit of members of the Thyssen family."
***

And so on... Thyssen wrote a book in 1940:"I paid Hitler." This extract above (not written by me) mentioned an extremely small part of the story.

Prescott Bush managed several war companies directly for Hitler (Hitler was his boss), including the most important, the American-Silesian corporation (even after Hitler had nationalized it). Bush was compensated in 1953, founding the Bush family fortune.

Verily, understanding Hitler without understanding Wall Street is a struggle in vain. Wall Street created the super monopoly called IG Farben (of Auschwitz fame). American-Silesian used Auschwitz slaves (even six months after Hitler had declared war on the USA, Bush kept managing the A-S corporation).

IBM had the monopoly of computing in the Reich (see "IBM and the Holocaust"). It was managed from New York in its daily operation, through Geneva, throughout the war. None of the 35 IBM factories in Hitler's Reich was damaged enough to stop operations, because US pilots were given strict instructions to avoid bombing them.

Standard Oil ("Exxon") gave the synthetic rubber and oil processes to Hitler (crucial to turn around the Franco-British sea blockade), Texaco gave Hitler the fuel to conquer Spain, the Ethyl Corporation of America flew in airplane fuel crucial anti knock compounds desperately needed as early as September 1939 while Hitler fought the entire Polish army and 45 French divisions, Nazi armor, magnesium bombs and automatic pilots for Stukas or Ford engines for superiority fighters were all, well, American, and so on.

Oh yes the USA did not send one cartridge to France in May-June 1940, during the Battle of France the Western front deadliest battle (more than 185,000 soldiers killed), but was the first and only country (besides the fascist ones) to recognize the illegal and unconstitutional Vichy regime (established under Nazi occupation).

One can call that set of observations anti-American, if one wishes, but, true, reality will be found by the mentally challenged to be pretty anti-American these days, I must admit. Maybe it should be racially excluded.

Fuller versions of some of this drift are found on my old site, Tyranosopher.
More recent material on other subjects (many pertinent to the present plunge of the US socioeconomy) can be found on:

Laugh-at-ya, you are not Michael Savage, no matter how hard you try. Here's the thing. If your view is correct, there has really never been a time in our history when the power behind the scenes wasn't calling the shots and pulling their strings.

Wait, that seems kinda obvious. Let's say the question is, how evil are they and how widespread and encompassing are their conspiracies?

You might have noticed that even when you have piles of data, names and "facts" about something, the majority of folks won't believe you.

So how do you practically propose that people wake up and do something. The powers that be have effectively neutralized folks like you or caused you to neutralize yourself. The people of the world have always been under the thumb of their rulers for thousands of years.

You'll be eliminated long before any revolution could take place and install new, idealistic tools who would inevitably fall under their own spell and display their own corruption. Was Mao really better than the emperors (they obviously didn't fake the transition of power)

Who knows how establishment Obama is (or will be) I'm convinced the best hope for change is a guy with an inner compass and lots of charisma who can persuade, with the help of the change energy of crisis, the status quo to get off their yachts and do something differently

Peace

What will talking power meters say about you?

Posted: Friday, October 9 2009 at 05:00 am CT by Bob Sullivan

What if it means that, one day soon, your auto insurance company will know that you regularly arrive home on weekends at 2:15 a.m., just after the bars close?

Given the sheer avalanche of data that is going to be generated by Smart Meters that talk back to the grid, it’s easy to imagine unintended consequences.
-------

So no worries? Duh! Your Smart Meter will report the electricity
used by any lights you turn on at 2:15am, however briefly. The garage door
opener operating, etc.
---------------

So yes you are under observation by big brother as soon as they install the
Smart Meter as most everything we do requires electric power.

I have to say I enjoy that in the last few years we discovered that the NSA literally had the internet and phone lines from most of the major telecom companies running straight into their data centers and yet people are still coming up with "smart meters will be used to spy on you" and "the H1N1 is a trick to put microchips in your brain."

HighDesert - Don't think the NSA is as likely to share your info
with Insurance companies or the police as PGE would be.

Here's a guy who reverse engineered one of them. Said its security
was 15yrs out of date for todays hack tools. As he shows by coping the
firmware off it.

I see. So instead of fearing Big Brother government you fear Big Utility and Big Claims Adjuster.

If an auto company wanted to spy on you why wouldn't they just require you to have one of those tracking devices stuck in your care that are already commercially available and placed in all kinds of government and industry fleet vehicles?

Please keep posting this stuff though because it's always fun to see what people are thinking about.

Hope that wardriving punks do not instruct your new smart meter
