Well, it looks like we'll be leaving either the 26th or the 27th and heading down, so it's 50/50.

Once the snow clears, someone should put up a note in the campground bulletin boards. If I were there, there'd be no way I would miss it; I love slideshows.

Serious sugggestion: I hope someone will video the show and post some out takes. Actually, what would be really cool is to start a video collection of Supertopian stuff. (Don't get Locker started though....although I think he WOULD give an Ouch! type effort to the task of documenting his stick-clipping techniques....).

This last fall there was a roundtable discussion at Rock and Snow of some of the old timers. It was pretty cool to hear them all laughing and discussing how Gunks climbing in their era eveolved; particularly early activism in conservation. Who'd expect to find out that such hard partiers actually gave more to the community than the average civic-minded citizen? But - it was the case, and I bet it's the same with others on this site.

We have the ST discussions that give us so much history. It would be cool to start building a video library too.

If you answer yes to any of these 5 questions, then it's probably best that you show up for the slide show on Dec. 27th.

1. Have you done this climb before?
2. Do you know who the belayer is?
3. Would you like to know what climb this is?
4. Have you ever kissed Tucker's feet?
5. Have you ever been afraid while rock climbing?

If you answered yes to ANY of the about questions, I'll see you at the slide show.

Unfortunately, Chris will probably not attend the Todd Gordon Slide Show;....I'm sure he really wants to , but I believe he had made other plans which he can't get out of;.......too bad, because this slide show is something a guy like Chris really does't like to miss..........(And I would have gladly given him a few tips on technique;......footwork, and balance stuff mainly.......)
