For those traveling on I-15, these prices can be found at Ghost Town Rd.
Just north of Barstow, California.

Hour after I left to go climbing.
I was expecting a call from you Friday nite,

Uh, before you get too happy, take into consideration that this is a HORRIBLE sign the world economy is continuing to fail at an alarming pace.
The price/barrel of oil is now below $50. While it's nice to not pay huge sums for gas, it is an important economic indicator that demand has fallen low world wide, meaning, nobody is producing/doing anything.
This is scary sh#t.

"...... nobody is producing/doing anything."
The paradigm is they went the wrong way in the beginning.
When things go bad you can't eat nuts and bolts.

Get so tired of these political threads, let's climb!
P.S. Dwain, Yea, it is too bad I did not call a little earlier.
Maybe we can hook it up next weekend, Cau, Scott

That Philips 66 sign is an old one since the regular gas is the same as the diesel. Ain't been that way for a long time.

Seems like just a few months ago that a well-known figure on ST promised that oil would hit $200/barrel just as sure as the SFHD thread would hit 2000 posts.

Agreed. I admit, it's nice, but as I told a friend of mine, in the beginning of summer when gas was $4.86/gallon, I was scared I couldn't afford to get to work. Now that gas is $2/gallon there is no work to go to.
Tight budget? I think I know a little bit about that. Especialy since I haven't had any work for the last month, and probably won't for a while to come.

Ahh, eKat, the fuel situation is super grim on the eastside, no matter where you go. LV or bridgeport. I almost always carry a gas can that I filled up ahead of time in sonora. at least the food is good at the mobile (I STILL feel guilty for eating there, that pox on the world. I mean, but really, lobster taquitos? f*#k ya).
haveing said all that, gas is cheaper on base. getting the beta- will be in soon on the exact price. bf is on a commissary mission (need more ricotta for the lisagna mmm... portabella and fried egglant.. goooooodd)
ahh, the news is in, 1.79 on base
