Hell, BITD we loosened our knickers and Kronhoffers, sticking them into our packs, and watched the stars' passage. A pied-de-elephant was considered a luxury.

Now they have "ledges" for 300m routes, with cell telephones, DVDs ("how-to" no doubt), and wet-nappies.

I ask you, what is next?

Wall-Nannies?
Giant airbags?
Via ferrata cables?
Spock boots?

1 900 SAN DBAG

That's what we would all guess, based on that Village People photo that Tar posted.

This was destined to happen. Some people have a 'feel' for the outdoor experience, others just do it and must maintain a connection to their world. They don't understand the outdoors really, although they really think they do...and can climb 5.13, whatever that means.

Some get it, some don't. Whatever, we share the same space.
