Here's an idea for a thread. Photos of climbing destinations throughout the states and indeed the world(since if anyone's got them, it's you people).

This is a chance to post some of those great terrain shots that you couldn't resist as you were on the approach. Or in the plane. Or topping out. Or whatever. The ones that show a general idea of just what's available....

I haven't got a good one. But one has to start somewhere, so here's one of the Gunks.

Note: Please post some sort of an idea as to the location, unless it's top secret.

I see Munge has an OVERSIZE CLIMBING PICTURES thread so....in this one, maybe make the files of a size that won't frustrate all us slowpokes....

In Steelmonkey's City of Rocks picture, near the center, just visible left of the tree, that roundish rock with a shadow on its lower right corner? If you look at that from the other side i.e. further down the trail...
It looks like one of those old faces carved from an apple which is then dried out.

Nut Tree Boulders taken this morning after a good soaking. Vacaville has been described as a Suburban Hellhole before, but I completely disagree. Perhaps it is a "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" kinda thing, but there is a lot to love about living in Vacaville to be truthful :)
