Nature & Pancake man, I can borrow a griddle that fits over one of these stoves... you can cook 16- 20 pancakes at a time. I can borrow the stove, but only have room for the griddle- in my little car.

Does anyone in tacoland own one of these?

Nature??

edit: I better call my friend and ask him the exact size. It is a 2 burner...

I'm relatively local and I'm hoping to have 510 OW by then... as such I'll volunteer to get stuff for a group meal thing... but I'd work best if someone was the head organizer (not me) and could direct my efforts.

I'm in Yellow Pines for the duration...

I don't know about y'all but I'm making my Spagetti alla Carbonara again with some kick-ass pancetta (although sometimes I use prosciutto).

Stick to your ribs good, I tell you what.

Lynne it would serve up to six with a side salad. I made too much last year and had lots of leftovers.

PMB, it wasn't too bad, I've made better batches though. Gettin the proportions of ingredients right is tricky without measuring utensils. I usually don't sweat it camping though. Maybe this year I'll bring measuring goods.

Also getting the consistancy of this sauce is touchy. Having egg/cream in it, you can make it watery, perfect, or really lumpy if the egg yolks are allowed to over harden.

Anyway, I'll bring enough for you and Lynne. It is quite filling so you don't need a lot.

I'm only gonna be there a couple of nights. Everyone is welcome to sampling my goods.

I may try some of Doug's sushi too...after a healthy donation to the tip jar.

I've only heard good things about his sushi. I just can't eat a lot of sushi. Maybe I'll change my mind.

The Carbonara is definately going on though. I hear Doug loves pancetta.

So Au Natural, just WHAT is leaving you speechless ? You don't need to say it's obvious...I don't think anyone else has "seen the light" either. so tell all, au natural... : }

I admit to learning disabilities... maybe it's not about food.. but 2X4 stuff...?? and everyone knows but ...moi. If so, not embarassed, 2x4's have never been my style. hehe

Nature...you thought Nita was talking about your double-headed geoduck pose...didn't you...you naughty yoga boy...

Speaking of which...uni muy?

I have managed to convince my boss that I will expire if I cannot be at the FaceFest on Tuesday night...and because my boss worships the ground I walk on--not to mention all the dirt I have on him and am not afraid to sell to the highest bidder--he has graciously agreed I must be there to do sushi Tuesday night.

So again...uni muy?
