If She has not gotten her message out by now, maybe She should concede.

"Cautiously optimistic". What a total cop out. If the situation goes bad you were smart enough to be cautious. If the situation goes well you were smart enough to be optimistic.

"This goes along with all the stupid MBA speak people use..."

They're going to "reach out to", as opposed to just "call" or "contact" someone.

(I guess it's the new kinder, gentler way to make shark-bait of a competitor.)

"I have no time"

I really wouldn't care-but the people who say this usually want to steal my time to make up for their lack of organization

How about a group of words...
"War on Terror..."
(It is vague and meaningless.)

"Fighting for Freedom"
What freedom? I can't live here for free. I can't change anything on "my" property without a permit... If I get naked in my backyard and someone sees me, I can get in trouble... So where is my freedom?

Plus, what is so free about forcing a people to have a government they don't want?

Phrases count too.

Anastasia, spot on about "freedom"

It's interesting meeting people from countries with "repressive" governments, as many times they enjoy alot of freedom in their lives, and have a much better better grasp of the concept.

While I can't even change the color of "my" house w/o getting it cleared by the homeowner's assn. (Last time I checked I was still in AK) I did manage to have a very freeing experience the other week when I free soloed a route and stripped naked at the top to soak up the rays.

Sorry for the thread drift, I hope I didn't scare anyone with TMI.
