Hundreds of people must see this thing every year.

Name the decent it's located by and the name of the formation for extra credit.
Winner wins nothing....absolutely nothing.

Clint,

You're right! City of Rocks, ID. I thought it interesting that the next picture was from City of Rocks, NM.

Salimizer- That's Split Pinnacle in Yosemite. A fun route and pretty cool climbing on that for the grade.

Visible from the East ledges descent of the Big Stone.

In 1853-54 the pioneers floated down the Columbia River to the lush verdant green meadows of the Willamette Valley.
They called this feature "C*ck Rock" as had the earlier White people, due to the resemblance to a Phallus.

In 1959 the Oregon Historical Society renamed it "Rooster Rock". As you can see, however, it bears no resemblance to a Rooster or any barnyard animal.

GO, that sculpture is carved into that mini-boulder at Squamish, below the Chief on the approach trail.

I walked by it the first time w/out noticing, but my wife, daughter and I happened to stop there on the way down--with me doing a double-take. Pretty cool, we thought.

Where is that Todd Gordon photo when you need it?!

Surely someone has a good photo of the 'Queen of the Desert' in Josh. She is right at the side of the road out past Belle Campground. She is anatomically very correct and thorough.
