Is there a schedule (times for individual events) posted anywhere yet?

Does this mean that you're going to have to move to Utah? ;) Welcome, if it does.

Speaking of ice in Ogden. Back in '55, a buddy and me got stuck in Ogden in August. Hotter than a two dollar pistol. Finally caught a scabby train pointed toward Reno. Had one old wooden passenger car with straight up wooden frame seats. Had a big wooden barrel of ice at the end of the car. As the ice melted, we had drinking water. Dang train stopped at every borax mine.

We were starved and all we had was two bottles of whiskey. At one stop, my buddy dashed up the hill to get us some grub. Idiot came back with two lemon meringue pies. Nothing else. Between the train lurching to a stop every few minutes and the pie and whiskey, I wound up green sick in Reno. Never been back to Ogden.

Yup...
I will be moving to Utah in the beginning of April.
RIght now I am only here for the week to help out with the festival.
I will be back in California by Tuesday to hang with the parents before going on a local road trip to say goodbye to all of California's beauty.

Beyond that, I will be moving in with Devaki in Ogden, Utah.
What can I say about living with a climbing partner, friend, a fellow female and a decently clean housemate?
I am a very happy camper.

Now Fattrad, Jello says you are just joking... Yet...
I personally can help you with that. Just note that it is going to be a whole lot of work. Especially since it involves making you die and all.
Since I am feeling pretty lazy right now, is it possible to worry about it another time?

Hey, Hossjulia, Beatrix, burp, MH, Nefarious and anyone else who can make it: we'll have to have some sort of special little ST gathering at one of the events. Can't miss an opportunity to celebrate our specialk connection.

We've just gotten Oli's agreement to do a 30th anniversary presebtation of his classic, John Gill biography, "Master of Rock". Pat's going to do a reading from his other works, as well, on Saturday night prior to John Bachar's show.

We're still looking for more art, photos and literature, too. It's going to be a fine weekend!

Hey gang I just got back from Ogden with Jeff as my slave for a week. Ogden is a very cool place and Jeff is a superb host. I met Anastasia (what a bundle of energy!), and Devaki. I had an amazing time out there and did some fun, fun, fun climbing with Flanders. I'll be posting a TR soon. Ice climbing in the morning on the North facing slope and rock climbing in the afternoon on the south facing slope of the canyon....whew, some great adventures! Sorry a little off topic but I wanted to keep this on the front page.

Radical, it's not imposing when you're invited.

RonBo, Ogden's reputation is changing from the colorful old sinful days to one of being a really healthy place to live.

Nature, send me an e-mail if you're serious. I'm sure we could work out the arrangements. I would worry about disrupting the SanteFe Fest, though...

I didn't get to say goodbye the other day. I had a great time hangin' with you and Jeff. Seems like the long days and hard work you're all putting in for Climb Fest is starting to come together. Wish I could be there, but am committed for some AMGA courses in Red Rock at that time. If you're still around Odgen near the end of April maybe we can get out on a few pitches or so.

I really enjoyed being around you and Jeff too! Plus, the night we all were together with Jac, Mary and Mack... Now that was incredible and very much unforgettable. I credit that night to you and Mack for making them tell stories. (Mary's incredible cooking helped along with Jac's wine too.) Thank You for that experience.
I too am sorry for not saying good-bye, but... It is also good since it means we are still on "hello." We will just have to cross paths again.

Yes, the ClimbFest is really coming out nicely. It has this historic feeling of being "The Event" which makes me get goose bumps. I am very happy with how it is coming along.

Burp?
Did you say "food?" (Wagging and drooling like a pup.) Oh, I am so game for that.... Now what kind of desert is your wife's favorite? (You know I worship women that cook.)
I will email you in a few weeks to figure out the date. Sorry for delaying so much but... Last night I just flew back into California to finnish grabbing the last of my stuff. I should "officially" be there in the first week of April.

The Fest sounds like great fun!! I'll try to make it out with my fiance and maybe a couple of other Bay area types.

Ironically, I own a house 1 block from St Joe's, but someone else is living in it!! We may be able to stay at a friend's semi-abandoned fixer-upper on Monroe, but if not... is there a camping option available (or selected poaching out past the boulders)?

That photo looks like it was taken just above Jello's house.

The photo size is fine - I have a normal size screen, and it just fits.

If you want to downsize the photo, you probably have to go back to the original on your computer, open it, then find the "resize" option and make it smaller. If you want to keep it in its original size/resolution, give the resized/smaller one a different name.

"That photo looks like it was taken just above Jello's house."

Correct

I used to know a little html and I recall there being a way you can change the width in the [img] tag.

To get this back on track...
If you do come to O-town, there are some routes to do for sure.

Schoolroom Wall:
-Bound for Glory 12b (my favorite)
-Goodbye Blue Monday 12a
-Explosivo 11d
-BNF 11b
-Some people like Tree Crack 11a
-Solar Flare 10+ (either direct start or Creamgene start)
-Taylor's Corner 5.7+

Many other good routes, but I don't have the time.

Thank you for asking... My Dad is now back on his feet and is very happy to be home.
He sent me off to Utah last Friday.

Now Steve, you know ClimbFest and SushiFest are too unique to be compared. They are both incredible in different ways. I am not upset with missing Nature's fine sushi since I will be enjoying a different kind of dinner.

At the Union Station Dinner we will be having a choice between a plate of Beef Tenderloin Medalions with a Mint Demi Glace or the Salmon with the Dill Créme Friache. Plus desert is going to be an even more difficult choice since it is between Chocolate Ganache Cake or the New York Style Cheesecake with Assorted Toppings.
