More cliffs found while hiking just outside Dalian today. Actually, getting to the actual summit of this mountain via hiking requires a short section of 5.2:

The "chronic" does grow wild around here, but in a very weak form. Strangely, the locals mostly don't know what it is.

These are not really random, "having no specific pattern or objective."

I drove to Cascades and then up to Crane Flat and then over to Greeley and over the hill from there to Hwy 49 north of Bagby last week, running out of battery juice in the Canon. I repeated the drive the day before yesterday, it was so remarkable the first time.
