Thinking back on a life that involved some climbing
It turns out I was wrong about all of it

The only thing I Can think of saying is make sure you take care of whatever abuses you may have suffered in those formative years, for they will haunt you
Render you incapable of being the best you that you might otherwise be.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iftc4mV36U

I felt I might be able to become something with climbing - I was never something I felt
Same as anyone else, I just wanted to get better. But were the reasons the right reasons?
Overcoming some inner fear through climbing, I might find someone to love me as I love myself

When you are disabled they never let you forget
The abusers of those with less, or different, or the incapable will carry on with their abuses

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyMGEq82uL4

Now that I have had a chance to step away, and waiting for the end I look back wondering when or where I could have corrected my my path
Once off route you enter a no protection zone that becomes increasingly dangerous

I understand more about the mind now
I see it as incredibly beautiful and the most dangerous item in your pack
It can help you achieve
It can make you suffer endlessly, without the help of anyone

Set in stone by those pivotal formative years which cannot be remade to be more positive than they were no matter how high you climb

I fooled myself for years thinking I could become something, anything to be remembered
If only enough of these abused people could love me the way I love myself

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMFSrwUpjHk

But I never let on, though screaming to everyone, that I was broken and needed help
When blinders of youth set in stone, you will eventually get exactly that: A wealth of kindness and friendship if you are truly kind or friendly, and nothing but coldness if you are tortured and empty inside and cannot make sense enough to even begin to begin to have a real life
One with meaning
Something
Anything at all would be nice

Still, I keep on keepin' on
Optimistically, waiting for my time to come

Dangit Jim Clipper, you have fantastic tastes in music! I saw the "For Those About To Rock" and "Fly On The Wall" tours back in the 80's, ripped my head off both times!

Here's what I'm digging currently.
