thanks for tip, pocoL, i enjoyed that, may have been Satchmo's last hurrah on film as he was gone the next year.
Gone, seems to be the theme today. Yesterday Mr. Winter (thanks Wilbeer) moved on, On this date in '97, I lost my mom and in '67 the 'trane left the station for the last time.

i can't iohnny off my mind. i hope he left the Firebird to Derek. damnit man, he just played the Cahors Blues Festival 3 days ago & has a new lp due out in September.
