My guess - same [boring loser] person, different [new fake] user name. Sometimes I can sniff these things out, but the motivation needs to be there. A few years ago, nobody believed me [at first] when I said there was one person using no fewer than eight and perhaps even ten different fake user names to flame me.

I used to have a dog named Ruben who would howl like a wolf whenever we played that song.

I used to have a dog named Fred who thought he was a wolf. Looked a little wild, tended to scare strangers, could catch all his own food when we backpacked.

He would bristle and howl like a wolf when the coyotes got into it at night. But what really set him off was a record someone had given us, I don't know why, which contained nothing else but "Songs of the Humpback Whale." He just had to howl back at those whales.

Pete, I know this is your favorite trite catch-phrase. But let's review, shall we?

1. No matter how many times you mindlessly chant this mantra, it won't make it true.

2. You were singing quite a different tune the two separate times I have confronted you, in person.

You weren't quite the internet chestbeating toughguy superhero with someone actually in your face. More like a mewling little bitch, "let's have a beer and talk about it".

And the "anonymous" part is pretty comical Baldman Rott, my pic and name shows up here on a regular basis. Not living up to your internet cop reputation, but you strike a good internet toughguy chestbeating pose...and I do emphasize "pose".

anybody who has a problem with him can meet and talk about it over a beer. You're either

I was thinking of starting a new thread, but I'll just post it here for now...

To summarize: Elcapinyoazz posts the following to this thread out of the blue:

So what? Your 8000 posts about Mac fanboy related bullshit are just as boring...and I'm a mac guy. Shouldn't you be down at Mickey's Beach helping out the linguini man get fitted for an iLadle?

I have no idea who this person his, except that he made a snide comment in the JT Accident thread,
and ended up with his foot firmly in mouth (see Gary's followup post), slinking away into the abyss...

For those who missed it, Linguini Man™ was an old perv who was jacking off at Red Rock Beach
(assuming the story is true; I have my doubts). So naturally, I'm going to respond to
this obscene reference in kind.
But again, I have no idea who my latest detractor is (take a number - there's a long list).
I ask this person to identify himself - he refuses, saying his name and pic has been posted here.
No matches on ST forum or Google search. He gets outed by Pete. Suddenly, people come out
of the woodwork defending him, and a couple make comments which are knott so complimentary.

All I'm saying is that we've been down this road before, and I'm just asking that you remove the
"He's a Good Guy"™ blinders and put things into perspective.
Oh, and it seems Will is a big boy who can handle the battles he initiates without any help
from the peanut gallery.

Thank you, and Peace to All.

plus, "pour some sugar on me" is just a bit of cabin fever sillyness, obviously. the person only started two silly threads, and the majority of the posts were in those, because they were chatty. it was very obviously not serious. it wasn't the kind of troll account people set up when they are really trying to fool people. like someone would seriously be trying to clean off bolts with windex! notice that PSSOM didn't use the account to start ten bajillion threads or say anything mean to anyone, or insult people or anything like that.

PSSOM was silly and pleasant, and bumped trip reports and climbing related threads with her posts.
