I say do you like to climb freely with your hairy beansack rolling with the wind? Which climb in the Valley is classic with liebacks, roof cracks, and lots of wide stems for me to moon everyone?

Why don't more climbers aspire to climb naked? Everyone should do it at least once. After a long big wall is the perfect time. My male and female partner on Glacier Pt apron found it amusing when I came up unclothed. These other guys coming up did not - one nearly fell off the far edge of the ledge we shared while our party rapped past them. Fahqing priceless...

Climb with you balls free in the breeze, but remeber.
If a rock falls you might loose your member.
Climb with your bare rump to the sun.
Should a storm come long expect it to go num.
The men might laugh and the ladies cry.
For sure though the general public will wonder why.
Bare feet will give you trouble.
No chalk will make it double.
Which route you choose,
all depends on what you have to loose.
Small cracks are fine,but big jugs are better.
mind to follow chris's topo to the letter.
Naked climbing is for us all.
Why you wonder well after all.
Every one is naked under what ever they are wearing.

If I remember correctly, a naked solo is being planned for next week, mid-day.

Not that rare an event in the early 60s. Slithering up the rotten log bare ass naked, at nightime is something you have to experience once in your life. Shame it is no longer there.

The NW was a route we would routinely ran up on a nice summer day in the early 60's.
In 1965 or possibly 66, I was working seasonally as a climbing ranger under Steve Hickman. Two sheriff deputies , out for a weekend of R&R, spotted a naked climber wedged into a jam crack near the upper section of the normal route . What we discovered on arrival was a rather strange and puzzling scene. A long time dead, naked, muscular and incredibly tanned male, tightly wedge into a crack in a perfectly normal climbing position. After two summers of search and rescue and too many morbid encounters we had taken to calling ourselves the Alpine Body Snatchers to lighten the psychological baggage. We flipped a coin for who was going to bag this one and I lost. What ensued was one of my most unmemorable climbing experiences. It is one thing to extricate yourself from a difficult jamming position, but try to envision pulling a dead, naked body out of a similar situation. We slung the body off with a helicopter and spent the next two days at the base searching for clothes to no avail. Far as I know the individual was never identified. Riddle never solved. One can well imagine all the wild scenarios we came up with to explain the wild circumstances surrouding this episode.

Sorry Jay, before this thread you were only "old", but now you are officially "old as hell". It's downhill form here sir. It sucks but what can ya do? We get old and then we die.
Except for Beckey. He got old and fossilized I think...but the rest of us I mean.
