Anyone available or know anyone who could watch two nice dogs (tomorrow )Sunday morning through Monday afternoon. Location anywhere between San Francisco and Big Sur. One of the dogs is being dog sat and we don't have its papers, so we struck out on boarding options.

Long (and intense and rich) story short, I am driving to Esalan tomorrow to attend a memorial for a friend, Jeremy Paster who died last week. He was a climber and committed environmental activist, and a good friend and mentor, and only 36.

I spent the last three weeks working as a member of his action care team doing the 24 hour hospice and palliative care, and support for his wife and parents.

Last minute bonus, we got a place to stay at Esalan tomorrow night after the service for the circle of caregivers and his wife and mom but one of our group has two dogs that need a place to stay.

Thanks if anyone can help.

My daughter is in Sana Cruz. What kind of dogs? How do they behave and are you offering compensation?

A friendly black lab and a boxer. Pretty well behaved. We can pay a bit as well.

I own a dog. If I choose to bring MY dog into a prohibited area, that’s MY business. If you have a problem with that, approach me, politely, and tell me what my dog is doing that bothers you, and I may comply. If my dog has disturbed your peace or destroyed your property, well you should have just focused on climbing and protecting your things. If you have a problem with my dog, you can always leave. Chances are, I won’t get caught, so it’s worth risking the violation.

"Well guess what?"

"I will simply entice or coerce your dog into my truck and drive it to an undisclosed pound…I'll tell them I found it wandering around in the Mojave desert…Think I’m kidding?"

"Well, calling me a pussy, being that I'm female, is very confusing...does it mean that I'm not man enough to give my name on a post? I don't want to give my name, when I intend to relocate dogs...I think I will "put them to sleep" in a very humane way too...that way they won't repeat offend, or disturb nature. The buzzards can benefit, and so the circle of life continues..."

My hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Nita, you're no daisy. You're no daisy at all.

Hugs-not drugs, I don't claim to be a daisy.... I never bring my dog to any national parks, i leave her at home. I would never harm anyones dog, or talk about harming anyones dog.

ps. also not anonymous, and have never used any other name on this forum.
