curl up in my pillows... :O
instead of at the foot of the bed...

oh my...

i need some 'doggie blockades' for THAT side, of the bed, now, too...

hahahahhaa, :)
she has a perfectly NICE old sofa, right next to the bed...
but then-- this is her way to 'be the boss' when i am not home, ;)

awww, EDIT:
NOT TO WORRY, i-be-goB i love my dog...

i was just being 'in fun' about, how, yep-- that sure does happen...

I have to say Jim, these two have been a handful. They are very smart and independent and large but luckily very friendly with people and other dogs. A day doesn't go by that someone asks us on our walks, " What kind of dogs are those? "

Painting and remodelling has been a real chore with these two around. Two steps forward and one step back. Painting baseboards with Nair.

hey there say, all...

my curious brain, as to things of nature, occasionaly take me on
'rabbit trails' ... well, on one such 'rabbit trail' i found this:

neat stuff...

http://wondergressive.com/pooping-dogs-perceive-earths-magnetic-field/

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/canine-corner/201401/do-dogs-have-special-magnetic-sense

*please excuse the 'supposed rude photo' but, i know we DO SEE THIS if we have dogs-- i did not mean to be upsetting anyone, oh-my) ... FARM FOLKS, and ranchers will understand-- it is okay: it means our pupdog is 'working' healthy ...

by the way, east and west, are seen easily, on my property...

thus-- i can, hee hee, KNOW north and south, these days, :)

patty ann marie, has her own 'area' for her doggie-needs-time...
and, i have to make sure she stays there for her 'job time' :)

or-- she will sneak over and mess-up the yard...

thus , i know for sure:

she always lines up, south... or, what may be south, except for this: south-west once in awhile, just a tad...

well, how about that... :O

never east, never full west... never north (though her tail, can go that way) ... :O

https://www.sciencealert.com/dogs-prefer-to-poo-along-a-north-south-axis

SAY, HAVE FUN, NOW-- as you all rush out, to keep an on the ol' pup-dogs,
come 'elimination' doggie-job-time, ;)

A rough time for little Patchy yesterday.

The morning--a great hike, watching the storm move through:

The afternoon:

My wife took him on a second hike. He's got CRAZY energy, so when we can, we each take him out. He's got a really strong chase drive and loves to lay down some pain on lizards, squirrels, whatever is scampering around the undergrowth, but this means he's also jamming his snout into bushes. As I had been fearing, the managed to jam a little sticker RIGHT INTO HIS CORNEA! Poor lil' psycho pup. Doc got the spear out and stitched up his inner to outer lids to limit irritation, but now, several times a day, we have to struggle like effin' hell to get some antibiotics into his eye. He's 29 lbs. of incredible strength, and he hates it. I feel so bad. If there is no serious infection, he should keep his eyesight, so let's hope for the best. A dog's life can be hard sometimes. Owner's, too.

Wow Bad.... that’s a tough one. My dog’s a sniffer too and I worry about the sharps.

We are working on our tent camping skills...she’s doing well.

Hiking in the LaSals today to beat back the Moab heat. Wild flowers were still in abundance.

Took Oliver up Mt. Ouray two days ago. Climbed the E Ridge via Grays Creek, hit the summit and headed back down via the NE Ridge.

Good boy.

Heal well, Patch-dog. Good on you for being the responsible owner, Bad.

I fuggin' love the name for a dog, Origpmac, Woodrow Call.

And I totally agree Neebee, those dogs do have a preternatural superhuman on average reckoning ability.
