Thats RIGHT you like the cluster! ;)

What the heck is Ammon climbing, anyway? He's hooking on nothing again, isn't he? Standard fare for him, I suppose.

What's really cool about these photos, even though they are a long way away, is that you can clearly recognize Alex, Ivo, Ammon and Kate.

That section of the Lightning Bolt Roof - spectacular though the photo is - is nothing more than a rivet ladder.

Kate, your cluster is too vell-organicized. Tom should have shown some photos of our barnyard on the Sheep Ranch if he wanted to show a proper cluster.

I vividly remember cleaning that very section of the P.O. The airiest spot on the whole route. But that's not all! As a added bonus! the rope runs over a sharp edge!!

Good times. Thanks for the memories.

Blinny... it is Kevin, Teds partner... I got some sweet pics of the entire route... they had good colors but didnt wear them most of the time... but still they got some nice shots to remember the climb from... good climbing team too...

Look at the Croatian girls... now those chics have real style!! And they were rewarded with lots of pics... the more colorful you are the more the camera gets pointed your way... basic law of physics there... right Ed?!

Tom, you'll be glad to know that my new jacket just came in, its a Das Parka in a fabulous I'm going to be the first mandarin orange to climb el cap in under...I mean over...17 days!

:)

And Pete, the cluster in the shot is "Bivy put away cluster." Shockingly, everything thats out actually went *in* the haul bag, rather than dangling around it like Christmas decorations. ;)

Can't wait to haul...I mean climb... with you again next year!

Looking forward to seeing you raging on the big stone again... next spring maybe if I am still alive....

Heh, I know, Its just that the black is slimming. Orange helmet on the way, too, after the unfortunately timed departure of the white one. If you use a slow shutter speed next time I take a whipper, it might just look like a sunset. :)

If 8 hour leads on A3 is Raging, well, I'm all for that. heh. I guess you like it when you don't have to move the scope very often. Between me and Gene, you're going to get all lazy on us...

Maybe see you before you leave Tom, and you better be alive for next spring!

And Pete, to see it, you'll have to be out of your sleeping bag before I've led off around some corner...but then, why WOULD we break with tradition? ;) As long as you can make coffee in your sleep that isn't to Bad, and give me some kind of a Sign when its ready, WE'RE ON!

I guess you missed the shot of one of those folks sending a baby pig screaming down 200 feet and hitting 10 feet to the right of me, Tom! Bummer. I'm sure the look on my face was priceless! hah!

Great shots! I have some fairly similar to the first couple, which I took after leaving the bridge the other day. The light and colors are amazing in the park right now! With temps perfect for climbing. An amazing late season so far.

It has long been anticipated. First it was the Rotten Log then Ze Boot Flake that everybody looked for in absentia come spring! Still there despite our best efforts. Even the Hubermuscle couldn't budge it.

Great pics Tom! And thanks for facilitating Werner. Those headtorches ever get to you?

With all the talk up thread about cluster f*#k belays and what not. Here is a shinning example of a well organized belay, only problem is that I can't find my stash. (so maybe not so organized hehe.) Thanks Tom Evens for the pics.
