Amazing. Hillary, Obama, and Edwards all say they are unwilling to commit to bringing our troops home by the end of their first term, if they win the election. Do you think they have been playing politics with our troops? Or am I mistaken, and they have'nt ever blasted Bush over a timeline for pullout? These are certainly the kind of strong leaders we need in the Whitehouse.

Charge the oil companies and the rich to pay for the war and pay down the national debt (i.e. raise their taxes) meanwhile lowering taxes on the middle and lower class incomes. I bet that would end the war pretty quick.

Bush and people that adhere to his school of thought are an intresting lot.

Saddam asked Bush for $1bn to go into exile

It's certainly in Bush's interest to hand over the messiest possible quagmire to his Democratic successor thus ensuring a 1-term Presidency.

We're overdue for a housecleaning revolution. The rich have gotten too rich, the law is for sale, and our leaders snub the voice of the people. Sadly the sheeple are too scared that a shake up might hurt their house value too much, so we'll continue on our downward spiral to serfdom.

All hail Walmart.

Honestly, I don't think it is fair to pin them to making a decision like that before they are president. It really just ties their hands on a situation they don't have perfect information on.

You have been sentenced to death. The execution will take place within the week. But so that you won't suffer a terrible dread on your last day, it will occur on a day that you can't know it is going to happen.

Ah ha, you say. This is not so bad. Clearly they can't wait until day 7, because that would be the last possible day. Once I know that, then day 6 is eliminated for the same reason.

And so on. So having decided that they can't execute you tomorrow, or even today, you are home free.

Right?

I'm glad thats a problem I'M not stuck with :D

With all the initial criticisms of the war coming from the democrats (justly, of course :D) isn't it a good thing they are there to fix it?

Obama is going to do a good job. I really dont see hillary or edwards, almost as much as i don't see a republican president the next term(s).
