Face lift, this is a scam! It is actually a cover to find the Giants!

Actually, we weren't tooled in the Park. It was in Oakdale after we stopped for gas.

Hope you have found the place by now, Karl! I hear there's more sushi tonight.

I will be there Saturday.
Tomorrow is my launch date for leaving Ventura County. I have been spoiled, I am not going to be use to the colder temps.

It is not gossip, it is happening. After tonights show, it reminded me of the old Deli but, in a bigger way. Of course, we are all a little better behaved now. I think there were a couple of big names there. I will let you know what I see tomorrow.

Just back from round two of Sushi and supertaco friends. Much fun.

"n the Yellow Pines volunteer camp... rolling sushi (Including Brutus of Wyde's FAMOUS HIGH SIERRA ROLL). ya gotta turn left & go past the sign that says "AUTHORIZED VEHICLES ONLY" "NO ENTRY OR YOU WILL BE TOOLED" "

Yup, didn't think to head up the unmarked no entry road but having read this, decided to live dangerously and found everybody no problem

Peace

I'll be there tonight. Murcy, you can climb with me and my buddy if you can't hook-up a partner. I'll see y'all tonight. Woo-hoo!!!!!

I hope I don't have problems locating it, Karl's freaking me out. I have directions though, and I'll look for the sign.

Stress not, You'll just have to overcome your law abiding side and transgress the "Do not enter" sign

I had a great time on Tuesday night. Ken's son is a good kid. While he was preparing sushi I'd kind of sidle up to him, "so what's that you making?’ He'd say this is the Tuna or this is the clam, whatever it was. Then he'd slide me over a piece before it was delivered over to the table for general consumption. Like I said, I like this kid.
As the night progressed, those of us who were still standing were gathered around the prep area. Nature just kept it coming. Soft Shell Crab hot off the stove, rolled and eaten. Hamachi with just soy sauce. Other delightfuls.

I met a lot of Supertaco folks who I'd remember better if a gentleman named Jim P. and I hadn't tried to figure out if Safeway's finest was better than Two Buck Chuck Merlot.

The next day Ed and I started in Wawona, cleaning up every turnout for the first four miles. Try to appreciate how nice they're looking next time you’re in the area.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Nobody fear. The doctor and I arrived back in AZ without further tooling. My biggest problem was stopping to pick up trash everywhere. I don't know how to stop. So much trash so little time. This was a GREAT event. Thank you Ken and all the other great folks involved. Wouold love to come back again next year. PE

Steve,
I've got a few pix: Some STers eating sushi; A couple of Hubers on The Nose. The usual.

Spent less time cleaning then I planned. Met lots of STers. Climbed a bit.

Just got home, here is the real inside gossip.

Tuesday night, no early Wednesday morning...a couple of tacos got way drunk, and shaved off Pagans chest hair...yikes!

Friday night: nature was seen prancing around in a Bush/Cheney T-shirt... He was still wearing the T- shirt on Sunday..double Yuck!!

Then on Saturday morning- I witness Anders- trying to teach some kids- Scottish highland dancing..triple Yikes!!! It was pretty funny.

Ok, not a trip report ### just pure gossip. ;-0

More to come, I am currently experiencing photo download issues, (what's with this 29 minute, black QT movie? must have bumped the camera in my pocket in the excitement) but this will get straigtened out
