I just took a photo workshop with Jack Dykinga. It was over in Bishop and run by Mountain Light. Awesome program. Here are some pix I took with a borrowed D2X. You probably know the locations so I won't bother with them.

Zion Lady Mountain
Was going to do a TR then realized i never took any pictures of the climbing parts
Heading up the trail which is unmaintained and narrow
Zion was the driest I have seen in a while but still some blooms
