well?

I'm curious as to whether (or not) their reputation will be lowered or bolstered by their foray into the rope market...

Hola!

Yes. I've been using one of their ropes now since September.
It's really durable, absorbs the shock of falling comfortably, retains its water-repellent finish well and is obviously well made. The handling is too stiff for my liking however. It is pretty stiff and I'm used to softer ropes like a Beal or BW. However, amoung the few people that I know who have this rope (the 9.4 single) I seem to be the only one who complains about this. Overall a well-made rope.
