anyone desire a fearless rook partner for a big high sierra climb? Could care less what, just looking to hav my mind blown. I'm hoping for someone whom would like to take someone who's never worn a harness, or used ropes in their life.. and perhaps show me the way. I'm 23, a damn good, avid learner and a pretty strong climber. I'll carry all of your sh#t and give you a big bag of good weed. Summertime would be rad.

Wake up to find out...

That marijuana is one of the best aids for climbs. Bolsters strength and performance. Helps muscle recovery. I do nearly 100% of my climbing high. looking for someone gnarly.. not a safe, boring, very controlled style. Looking to get my ass kicked, come back with a bruised ego and a smile

Hello! It sounds like you maybe a very strong boulderer, which is a great start. But before anyone would partner with you on a rock climbing route outdoors, even a one pitch crag route, they would at a minimum want you to have a harness, know how to lead belay and a laundry list of other things. You can make a good start not too far from you at Sender One SNA. Learn to do roped climbing, learn to lead and lead belay sport routes and practice crack climbing on the cracks there. Have fun.

Yes Werner 95 percent chance you are right but It’s a nice exercise to respond to trolls with an honest and kind answer. Like a little meditation.

BURT BRONSON perhaps? I’m all in...we start at Big Rock, shred the gnar, I got all the leads, no need for belay. You follow on swami, we rap with biner brakes. From Big Rock we move on to Josh, warm up on some stout cracks, no tape of course, then hang in the parking lot with all the man buns we sit on our boulder pads. I got a guitar, you bring the cloves. We finish up with a quickie to the Valley, speed run up Free Rider, then off to Snake Dike for a solo under the full moon....loads on top!

But my favorite era is early 80s. Brent is my favorite keyboard player for the Dead and when they had 3 strong singers they had some great harmonies. A couple years after he joined and really jelled with the band and before Jerry’s drug use curtailed him.

I saw them a bunch in late 80s to 95. It was awesome.

If this is a legit post I would repeat much in the up threads. Ex.

Any climber I know would not take you on a Big and Scary High Sierra
climb without knowing that you could save his life if something happened
to him. Start off small with a good mentor and then go bigger.

I'm self taught with a little help from a few books I found in the library and some goofy friends. We started small and I scared the crap outta myself more times than I can even remember. It took years to develop the skills and learn all the systems, and close calls, that lead up to my first "Big Climb".

While that first "Big Climb" was intimidating it wasn't scary. It was enjoyable! Because we did our homework and understood how to get our asses out of as many situations we could think of. The unknown's are alway there too.

Being a strong climber doesn't make you a safe person to be attached to a rope with. Then there is chemistry which requires several "dates" as mentioned above.

Good luck man!
