Same goes for Sheridan Anderson. Any T's out there?
edit: hope this thread gets archived. it's a goodie and has history.
I have the rights to Sheridan's work for t-shirts. I have them printed and ready to go! In fact, I have had the rights for about eight years... just too damn busy!
I just need to take pics and put them online...
Maybe I will shoot them tomorrow so everyone can see.

Hey thanks, Steel Monkey, for sharing those photographs of your nicely presented curiosities.
The Parba Big H nut is something I had never heard of, nor seen until now!
They're very elegant.
All these years later, the Heibeler clamps, Forrest Arrowhead, and Moac nut are looking pretty sweet under glass.
The Forrest Arrowhead & Moac nut are of particular interest to me visually. The proportions of their native rectangles along with the tapers are pleasing to the eye. If you are familiar with a proportional schema called the golden mean that artists sometimes appeal to in their compositions: I wonder if those two items come close to following it?

Simon,
Just for kicks (not exactly sure what kind of kicks) I just read the entire thread from 2010 about your Yabo Says Relax T-shirt.
Damn, that was a rough ride for all concerned!
I passed on that thread when it came out, because, well, you know.
I will say you acquitted yourself grace and wit, but you knew that I'm sure. I'd bet the Yabo shirts all sold through just fine!
I liked Frankie Goes to Hollywood quite a lot! Just happen to have Welcome to the Pleasure Dome here as a single on 12 inch 45 RPM vinyl, w/ Relax on side B.
If I were to design a Yabo T-shirt for myself, it would probably say: Dimp for a Chimp. Not sure what the best pairing of Yablonski related artwork would be.
Probably fairly arcane for most people to get, but Dimp for a Chimp was a boulder problem or TR in JT, and IIRC, it was named after him, or should have been at any rate.
Happy trails,
Roy

This was made on the streets of Kathmandu after an ascent of Ama Dablam where one team member had a femur broken by rockfall at 20,000´. The image was copied from an x ray.

The old climbing ones deserve to be saved. Practically trace climbing history and ethics.

Yes, Armando: please post up that T-shirt!!!
And you are spot on with your last post. The T-shirts trace the evolution of our sub culture.
Here's one from Lynne Leichtfuss, dead on topic, featuring Bruce Pottenger sporting his silkscreened magic of the well loved Ray Olson Weenie Roast design, and Randy Vogel in another T-shirt which has made this thread, on the right:
I'm thinking Bruce probably did the graphics and the silkscreening for Randy's shirt as well. He was way into the harlequin motif!
