For us non-Californians, can anyone recognize/share the climb(s) they are on?

You would think they could just rap off if they had a problem.

May not play well in mainstream but this will shred with the Spanish overdub on Telemundo. Very "telenovella" in style. Pretty good acting and editing. Painful for real climbers to watch.

Come to think of it, there is a huge market of gym climbers that could gobble this up.

Why can't they make a climbing movie that isn't insulting to real climbers?

Maybe it's a comedy and I just don't get it.

Not sure if this has been posted in these comments yet, but the male lead reminds me so much of JP:

My first epic was because I didn't know how to do a multi-pitch rap :)

Stuck behind a slow party, sitting on a ledge a few pitches up Fairview Dome Regular Route for an hour, watching a wall of black storm clouds advance on us... neither of us had done a multi-pitch rappel before and weren't sure how... the only way off was up! So we climbed through torrential rain and hail, summitted with lightning striking the peaks all around us. No time for a high-5 on top, we RAN down the back side sometimes through ankle-deep rivers hoping we didn't get struck by lightning. Still makes me smile!

Another time after doing Lucky Streaks, I was looking at the steep parts of the descent route, dancing all delicately on dry ground through part of the walk-off, and wondering how we didn't die before.

I’ll ask the filmmaker if he needs any more actors or extras for the final fill-in shots.

Lots of you guys would be perfect to play the old, overweight, drunk washed up dudes that hang in the lot and talk sh¡t all day.
Craft services food just might be better than your wife’s, too. Bonus!!!

Just met the director at local boulder rock and learned of this sh#t show. He claimed to have climbed 5.11 at some point between the birth of christ and now. Didn't seem to be a super down to earth guy and looked like his main reason for being there/chatting was to pimp the damn thing.

Guy gets hurt, woman takes over, and they finish the climb. Role reversal. There's a moral lurking there someplace.
