more details to come but I want everyone to have the dates.

4/20 - 4/21/2018

Group site at Creek Pasture is now reserved. We can have as many as 50 people in the site and 20 cars. More details to come but most of you know the drill. $35/person/night (plus a small camping fee if you wish to stay in the group site).

Cool Jon!

I知 really happy with the location. No monkey business grabbing a site.

As it stands right now I知 the only one working behind the bar so space is limited to 20ish ATM.

Brick has never shown up. Is Brick really Nature?

I have never seen the "Brick" persona in my Sushifest experiences, so who's to judge?

just a bit of a heads up. It's only me behind the sushi bar for this one. I have to limit at 20 unless I find help. There are 4 spots left for Friday and five for Saturday.

I don't know why not that's what piton Ron did a few years back at this event. Though at a more remot venue....

Possible that you might be looking for someone to do an OW or two, Yosguns? I'll be heading out without a climbing partner. Trying to decide whether to leave Thurs night or Friday morning. Depends on having someone there to climb with on Friday. Btw, are you going to be there Friday in time to climb, Moose?

I'm not sure what the plans are, exactly. I will only be in the Moab area for a few days (flying in/out of Grand Junction and meeting up with my partner who's driving out the week before to climb with his buddy). Hope we make it to SushiFest! Will be my first!

Hey Grug,

I fly home from Atlanta Thursday night. If I have the energy, I may try and pack up and head down for at least one night. I would look forward to the camaraderie as much as the climbing. I'll see how it goes.

Sorry, no pictures (I'm not a picture guy -- at least not the taking kind). If nobody else posts up, I know that Elizabeth took some that I can share.

I can say that it was a good time. The Pasture Creek group campground was a good choice, and Doug is going to try to reserve it again for next year. Prod made the generous act of paying for the site by himself. We filled it up pretty good. I don't know what the numbers were exactly, but it seemed like a lot.

I got some climbing in with Prod and Edge and Moose. We went to the Second Meat Wall on Saturday and the Tenderloins on Sunday. We teamed with Donini's group on Saturday.

It was a pleasure to hang with, among others, Tom and John from Kentucky, Manny and Lori, Pagan Monkey Boy, and Prod and Edge. There were lots of younger people I didn't know. Missed you Mike! Kudos to you, Doug.

Prod did what? I paid for the site. Actually, Tom paid for thursday.
I have photos.

Mike and Tim flew up from Flagstaff in Mike's 182. I made the deal that I'd pick them up if I could fly the plane. So I did.

The second best part of the flight was when we were coming in to land and I say to Mike, "Hey, maybe you should land the thing?". He responds, "I'm not very good at landing from the right seat". Tim comes on, "guys, this isn't exactly the conversation I want to be hearing right now". First time landing a 182. Can't say I buttered it but the shiny side stayed up.

Best part of the flight was sneaking up on camping and buzzing those guys. Head BLM Ranger was rolling through and stopped at camp. He asked what we were up to and Darrin told him SushiFest. He than asked if we were landing to deliver the fish. Left us with a "have a great weekend!". Golden!
