Hi everyone.
I've been looking to buy a silent partner for a while now, but they're proving to be illusive.
On the off chance that any kind individual out there has one in a closet gathering dust, i would love to buy it from you. I promise it would be going to a good and loving home.

I have one in excellent condition. Its currently in Montana and I'm in California, so you'd have to wait a month or two to get it...

Wasn't the Gri Gri originally intended to be a solo device, and modified to be used as a belay device?

Look at what they sell for on Ebay, it isn't an unreasonable asking price for a device that isn't made anymore and is likely safer than all other competitors.
A Silent Partner is better than a Revo.

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy this.
From Pete Whittaker
https://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/skills/how_to_rope_solo_-_with_pete_whittaker-11160
If you are particularly interested in what I use, it is the Silent Partner. However now that the Revo from Wild Country is out, I plan to give this a little test, although it must be noted that this piece of equipment isn't specifically designed for that purpose).
I tried an early prototype of the Revo for rope soloing. It was mostly positive; the device fed the rope through more smoothly than the Silent Partner and the whole unit felt less bulky and weighty, making it more pleasant to climb with. A slight downside from a safety point of view is that the Revo only has one attachment point to the harness, whereas the Silent Partner has two. I've taken some falls on the Revo and it held and locked in good time of course. However, I have yet to take a 'monster lob' (think stripping an aid pitch and factor two falling back on to the belay) on the Revo, so how it would hold up in a huge fall I can't comment.
A MP thread on Silent Partner vs. Revo

Edit: To reiterate, I am selling a Silent Partner for $480. PM for details.

Fair enough. I changed the wording. What is "safest" from a climbing perspective can be debated almost without limit in many areas.
I certainly can't prove a Silent Partner is the safest, but everything I have read seems to indicate it is.

I threw up my Silent Partner on fleaBay if anyone is still looking for one. I couldn't justify keeping it after injuring myself and not going out lead soloing as much as I'd like to.

Make sure to girth hitch rubber bands around your rope and clip them to your gear regularly. One time I got to the top of 80' route and noticed I was almost out of rope. It was stacked neatly next to tree I was anchored to. It only takes about 20' of rope to weigh enough to make it feed.

Didn't care for the SP, used a grigri #1 for a decade which worked, but it sucked compared to the Eddy I've used for the past 14 years.

Hey there,
I am looking since quite some time for a rock exotica silent partner (alternatively for a soloist).
If someone is selling it,would be great if u keep in touch with me!
Email: gabriel-molle@gmx.de
WhatsApp +491604012351
Shipping to Germany would make things easier. In case shipping to Germany is not an option, I got relativ in the U.S., so this should not be a problem
Thank u in advance
