Hey Yosguns thanks for all you do.

I wanted to put a plug if for Meatfest Saturday night at Yellow pines. Fatrad (Jeff Elfont) will bring the main course and we'll have a BBQ in camp for those who want to use it too. Please bring food to share and your personal eating utensils.

I am bringing 2 big bags of Charcoal and fruit from my orange and apple trees.

So who is coming to meatfest and what are you bringing. Its always a fun night with fire, music and friends

Blueblocr, garlic fries sounds awesome.

Looking forward to seeing you again John.

Laura, we use the parks big BBQ so no need to bring one, besides they become bear bait. And you know how the park is! Lemons sounds awesome. Catsup, Coconut curry, Bulgar salad with veggies, and vinyl tablecloths are great thoughts. Looking forward to seeing you and Martin.

Jon the salad was great. Washing everything afterwards is a big deal. Lynne, Nita and a few others were a huge help on KP. Good man.

I am going to bring plates, plastic ware, and paper towels, but i'm hoping that folks will bring there own.

I'm bringing Chilo's Chili, it looks like, courtesy of PocoLoco1.

Six jars of Green Lid (mild). Thanks, John!

I should have beans going again, too, as I did last year -- I really enjoyed the break from volunteering at the weigh-in station on Saturday to prepare them.

And John Eleazarian, I'm looking forward to your offerings. Glad you'll be there this year.

Will Do Jim. You'll be missed. You were my neighbor a few years back when you were there.

Lynne I have a big pot too. Maybe 2 gallons. Jon's might be better. Still working on a late arrival to bring the chicken. Worse case we can get it at the store. Is two chickens enough?

Moose, Cragnshag and Vegas sounds awesome. Looks like we'll be having some good food.

I'll bring some misc. metal bowls and serving utensils. I'll have a two burner stove people can use as well.

Thanks JB for the good laugh :)

Here's one for you. "I'm feeling all "stove" in." I thought it funny .... just finished cleaning the two camping stoves I'm bringing.

I think your pot may be to largo, Jon. I need more like the two gallon size, about 10" diameter and 8" height so they will fit on my camp stoves.

H, your pot sounds perfect, but need two. As well as two chickens. No worries I can pick them up at the Yos Village Market if need be.

I also have for your pancakes a bottle of real maple syrup and a bottle of Montana Huckleberry syrup and a roll of paper towels for clean up.

My van is packed and I had to step back and smile. It's been 9 years and I have a quarter of the stuff I used to bring. I have learned much and have some awesome friends I am thankful for. Cheers and love, lynnie

Also, at least one person who will be there is a vegan - she's a Facelift regular. Will there be any vegan dishes, or it not that, at least some Vegans?

If they are not making noise you will be good for a little while. Back brakes last longer than fronts. How much meat on the pads? that would be the thickness of the material on the pads. I you drive it is best to stay off the brakes as much as possible. Coming down hills takes a toll. Coast as much as possible on hills.

I would be skeptical about the need for calipers and rotors unless you have issues with the brakes now. Go somewhere and just get the pads replaced.

Lynne these guys are notorious for creating business for themselves in the name of "your safety" 99% chance you'll be fine getting to San Diego.

I am bringing 62 pounds of charcoal that should be enough with what Fattrad is bringing. Also I'll be picking up a couple of tubs of beer that Dean Rosnau is donating. Good man Dean!

Getting close. I'll be in Yeller Pines Monday night ready to sing people in Tuesday. Looking forward to being back "home"

Also got word that Bill the coffee guy will not be making coffee this year for health reasons. He is OK and will be around so if you see him you might want to thank him for his service over the years.

The day before leaving for Facelift I faced a real crisis. John and Roger in the Clean Team make a practice of looking for good stuff. They said to me, "You won't believe what we found!"

I went and took a few photos. There are all from one site.
Trump's tire wall

Let's face it though. Yosemite grabs you by the heart.

So we went to Facelift. The toilet paper was great this year. Never better. But I had work to do in the Pit so we went back.

The JT arsenist had struck again. Turned a 5.4 job into a 5.5. No biggie.
