You can get the political/religious garbage anywhere. The trip reports on ST are priceless. I will comment on everyone that I see....consider the effort the poster put into their tr and the effort of the trip itself. Anyone can pontificate their views about politics and religion. People who do trip reports have walked their talk.

Anyone who files trip reports has the right to spew whatever and still have my respect.

Well-written, humorous, and not even a little boring. Well done Del!

Here's a true trip report: When I was young two friends and I followed the directions for the Owen-Spaulding route on the Grand and ended on the summit of the Middle. End of trip report.

I glad to see Keeler Needle TR back. now I copy-paste it on my drive.

del cross, what was the story when Rick posted trip report [on sierra club page?] about climbing Dark Star on Temple crag, and someone [I do not remember who] copy-pasted it under different name on ST? or I messing something up?

Well the last time I posted a TR, actually it was a TR posted in the forum section, some dick licker attempted to shred me over something that had nothing to do with anything...it's hard to justify the effort.

Here's mine:

I climbed. Often. It wasn't in Patagonia where the only worthy summits are. Summits are what climbing is ALL about. So my climbing wasn't worth anything. Even to me. Because I knew that I wasn't seeking Patagonia summits where the only worthy climbing is to be found.

Sorry that the above TR wasn't worthy of the OP. But at least I tried. Trying is worth something, isn't it?

I enjoy the trip reports, the tractor thread, all the threads about climbing vans and especially what did you climb today which is full of mini trip reports.

Most of the the old farts on this forum already tripped out of their minds in the 60's and 70's .......

Right you are Werner. What we need is for some old fart to step up to the plate and do a 70's vintage "acid" trip report. I would but I never took pictures.
