congrats! Elbow is better. Been off of it for weeks now.

Yeah, right at the base. Right in line with the first bolt.

My opportunities to climb have been so sparse that the last time I got out I was willing to drive 2 hours and carry a 40 lb pack for 1 pitch of 5.5...

Climbed "The Gobbler" last week. A fabulous route, but I thought the first pitch was a real sandbag at 5.9.

Went to latest super secret spot....

It has been a long winter for sure.

Led the Gobbler in 1986. We camped in Black velvet canyon for a week. All the bolts were 1/4" split shafts. many of them wiggled...... at least there was often 3 bolts at belays.

Jim. do you remember what you climbed at Lac Willoughby?

We escaped the wet, cold, gloomy weather from the Bay and arrived at the sunny beautiful Red Rock with just the ideal condition and temperature welcoming us ...got us some olive oil and had it all to ourselves. It was simply a blast and couldn't be more prefect!! ...loved it and had an absolutely great time. : D

No whining; just want more...
