Can you beat a robot in the Turing Test -- None yet can resolve ambiguity in natural language except to say the likes of, "I do not understand" and fool you. Some ideas from March SciAM.

The intelligent class will always defeat a robot eternally because the intelligent class is/was never ever created.

A robot is created by the intelligent class and a robot is always limited, unlike the intelligent class that is always unlimited .......

Disambiguation works better with more state maintenance. See what I did there? I turned it into a political thread.

are you saying intelligent people are not smart enough to make a robot smarter than they are?

I get it: the predominator is a robot.

That means that you are a robot repeating the same thing over and over.

But you know it's not true because the human living entity can always transcend the material limitations by knowledge from the intelligent class .....

Oh Sire Duck,

it is the material limitations that make some of us practical but I have heard it said, what truly exists never changes.

So those that never understand nothing truly exist.

Disambiguation on SuperTopo includes partly the process of resolving conflicts that arise when a potential topic is ambiguous,
most often because it refers to more than one topic covered by other threads,
or to threads with similar titles,
either as the main subject of an topic,
or as a sub-topic covered by an another topic in addition to the main topic.

For example, the word "Mercury" can refer to a chemical element, a planet, a Roman god, an automobile line, and many other things.

No math in a Turing Test? Well, strictly speaking, no, but be careful what you wish for because
Turing's logical operations, learned at the feet of Gödel and Wittgenstein, are heavy going
in the extreme. He actually preferred logic to maths but felt maths more usefull.

Riley,

you are great at name dropping in this case the title of book. Are we to think you R smart -- How about telling us something worthwhile about your reading of the book?

His preference for criminals to remain in prison a long time doesn't preclude his construction from materials other than dense metal. Therefore the above statement is false.

Pop goes the balloon?

SciAm in brief:

But Turing's test has not aged well. Passing it is more a matter of deception than of true intelligence. AI experts argue that the time has come to replace Turing's test with a battery of events that will access machine intelligence from many different perspectives.
