yeah a cross post, but It is not my cup of tea, if the readers among you are Cubby fans . . .
Sorry for your pain, here is a consolation prize.
I heard it was a good read.

What was the final tally? 28-8 Dodgers? Their relief corps has thrown 27 scoreless innings IN A ROW!

The league desperately wants a Dodgers-Yankees series.

Gotta bump my Yanks!!

But, highly improbable at this point.

Altuve is such an impressive player.

Houston(the city) could use some positive energy.

Rooting for extra innings.... then a 2 out swinging bunt in the 16th, thrown away by the pitcher, then two more errors on the play with a call out at home... overturned by replay to SAFE!!!!! Winner!!

What happened to the Yanks’ bats?
Is the Stros’ pitching that good?

Anyway

Puerto Rico currently has the fourth-most active players in Major League Baseball (MLB) among Latin American jurisdictions, behind the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Cuba.[1]

Tickets available for game one - about $660 - $1550.

I don't get it.

so far the theme of the 2017 post-season has been big-name pitching choking in big-game situations. Verlander was the sterling exception.

big bats, like Altuve's, have been a-dime-a-dozen.

He was heading back to Edwards AFB after the Chavez Ravine flyover!

Dodgers win one (or four) for one of those catchers (hardest working men in basebiz), Roy Campanella!

Can't I do better than that?

OK

t all ended in 1957, when both the Dodgers and Giants deserted New York, the Dodgers moving to Los Angeles and the Giants to San Francisco. By then, Campy's star was fading. He was 36 and the brutal physical demands of catching had taken their toll. Then came the accident. He never played a game in Los Angeles. That didn't make a difference. He became Mr Dodger. He eventually moved west and worked for the club as a goodwill ambassador.
