A shot from my last successful climb last year. You know it's a good day when you just do and don't over think it. Coup de Grace at Tahquitz, connecting up the last 2 pitches of 5.9.

Hellfire, LeBruce, I never disclosed: South Central...pretty much forgettable!
Valley grade PMF, not to be confused with DNF. Was SC really that bad? Loose? Dirty?
Across the way from there, deep into the obscurity scale + once again in the lichen thickets

ps, I get it. I should have posted a climbing photo, but still I stand by what I said. I can try for a save and insert an older climbing photo.

There was excellent friction to be had at the Smoke Bluffs yesterday. The ice smears were minimal.

It's a site for rock climbers or, should I say, former rock climbers who love to pontificate on subjects they have only a cursory understanding of.

launching into the '"10c" OW, which felt way way better to me than did the "10a" thin hands section on p1. Oh yeah, the MP rumor about the drilled-out stuck knee debacle on p2 appeared to be validated by a concentration of many oblique shallow drill scars at the start of the 4.5" section. I can just see the rescue crew, "alright, I'ma have to step off your knee, ok kid"
