Facebook users, I just joined a group called The Karakoram Club. You have to get permission to join by explaining why you want to.
Here's why you might want to. It's got hundreds of hikers and photographers and amazing pictures of one peak after another that I've never heard of. Some of them have big walls, I google the peak names and nothing ever comes up. A lot of the members are hiking guides. I'll bet they could bring you to amazing places where no one has done technical routes.

Yikes....missed this one. I know it’s attributed to me but, trust me, I am completely incompable of putting a youtube video onto a thread...I’ll have to ask the wife about this.
As to Vitaliy's comment about dancing on a good weather day was emblematic as to why American’s didn't garner more Piolet d’Ors. Yo, I am so out of the running at my age and we were on the third day of the four day approach to Latok and any climbing was out of the question...lighten up!
