He's going under The Knife tomorrow. No, it's not for that often postponed lobotomy. He has
seen how well it has werked for me but he just can't bring himself to say yes. He's having a
new CV joint put in his front wheel drive. He's requested no flowers or cards - just send beer
and Beatles memorabilia, care of yours truly. Trust me!

HEAL UP, BRAJ, PERU NEEDS YOU!

Well since this talk of new CV joints could be misinterpreted in some, well, disparaging ways, The Yeary is getting a new knee.

Heal up, dude! It's a new knee, don't f*#k it up! Listen to the docs and let that baby settle and heal before you go tear-assing up 5.11 slabs.

Good stuff tho!

Three weeks post total knee joint replacement. I am walking almost normally, able to go up and down stairs and generally feeling pretty good. I still have very limited endurance some weakness and instability that will be rectified in time, by my physical therapy. I won't pull any punches: just let me say that the first 2 1/2 weeks were very painful but I seem to be over the hump with the pain.I'm almost sleeping through the night, getting up once or twice and generally feeling pretty good. My orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kanna had told me that during the first 2 to 3 weeks I would feel like it was the biggest mistake of my life and regret getting the procedure done, but that sometime after the third-fourth week I would start to feel much much better and wonder why I waited so long to get it done. Well, I feel like I'm finally there!!!!!
