Huzzah for the Aikman-ness! And damned if we don't all wish we were Jonathan Hemlock, as above.

Can't commit to beers yet, but will if I can. It will be a long post work day for me and I'm meeting friends there, so if they are psyched and I'm not falling asleep, I'm in! Where can we meet you (all)?

NOT
There is no shortage of bars/pubs in that area, the problem is that they don't meet the standards of the Seattle ST community. So I think we should charter a private jet to whisk us down to Bend after the show.
Hmmm. Or maybe San Francisco or San Diego.
If we didn't have to get up early the next day, I'd say everybody should come to our place and help drain some of the way-too-many kegs and bottles. That'll have to wait for another time, so maybe we'll just all have to settle for some Ballard hell-hole.

Look, since we all like the outdoors, I say we meet in one of these (frequently seen on Lake Union): http://hottubboats.com/
I'll be attending with a half dozen Scandanavian models visiting here for an international glamour/bikini fashion show. If the tub boats get too crowded, I can ask them to stay behind at their hotel. They were chafing at the mandatory swimsuit policy anyway. In their respective countries, hot tubs are always clothing optional, and from what I've seen of the pictures of their post fashion show parties, no one takes that option. They were hoping to meet some burly yet sensitive older climber types though, as they have heard about the PacNW mountaineering traditions and are intrigued. Oh well...

I propose meeting at the Jolly Roger taproom in Ballard since they have good food, ales and tables indoors and out.

Bump.
Please support independent adventure and documentary filmmakers. If you can't make the screening, consider a donation. These are wonderful films that are nearly as risky to make as the subjects they cover.

Just a bump for this Wednesday; as the subject says:
Metanoia
Second Ascent 8PM
5209 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107
Afterwards ??? As ghost says it'll have to be a short night (bus service sucks from Ballard unless you head downtown first), but ...
* Conor Byrne (just across the street) music ?!
" BARROW, ALBERTA, AND DREW MARTIN....FREE!!!"
* Market Arms, a bit of a walk would do us good.
more of a walk might be good for us.
* Maritime Pacific Brewing Company
Address: 1111 NW Ballard Way, Seattle, WA
on the table.
