Scott!

You'll pull through man. Just like you and Gerby and Bengston reaching for the summit of the Big Stone in a single push ... You got this one.

Light it up!

Always hard to see stuff like this. It especially sucks to see it happening to a fine dad.

Heal well, and soon Scott.

A very tough time, may Scott make continual progress and feel much better soon. He has the main thing you need to recover from getting pitched one of life's curve balls, perseverance.

Bump for helping a Yosemite legend. In case you missed it, there's a link to a GoFundMe site that Jason set up at the top of the first page.

We're all pulling for you Scott so I hope that you get through this as quickly as possible and recover fully. Scary situation but you are one of the solidest people I know and capable of dealing with whatever comes.

More or less shared a bivy with Scott Stowe on The Nose in 2006. My partner and I were doing the Great Roof pitch and saw him and a client coming up from below. We were impressed at how, with some innovative back-cleaning, he was able to link three pitches so the client only had to jug one! The client spent the night with us at Camp 5 while Scott went on up and bivied in The Glowering Spot...
