What mountain is it which these stout fellows are trying to climb?
Hint 1: It is covered with snow and ice, and in the northern hemisphere.
Hint 2: Not Lembert Dome.
Hint 3: Unclimbed. (Vitaliy?)
(Please, no technical trickery to ferret out where I 'borrowed' the photo, and no ringers. You know who you are. I will properly credit the photo later.)
(Latest in a very intermittent series.)

A close resemblance to Bogus Mountain, on P.116 of the Fairley guide. However that has been climbed by at least 6 routes.
Surprising that this peak has not been done. It looks like a walk-up. Perhaps that's why?

of course it's in Canada....
but isn't it confusing to have multiple peaks named the same?
I could have sworn that I climbed a peak with the same name off the Ice Fields Hwy.

Neither Khan Tengri nor in Norway. However, there is a connection between the following photo and the peak.
Hint 4: The mountain has been attempted three times.

^^^you can see why all the Canadian topsoil sloughed off down slope into the US midwest...
it has got to be the hardest place for a climber to drive through... absolutely flat... but a good place to listen to Joni Mitchell on the iPod...

Here is a closer view of the spire, which is also unclimbed. My grandfather and greatuncle, and an assortment of relatives - including several named Erik Eriksson, but not E - helped to build it. It was finished in 1919.
Hint 5: Not in Kansas, despite what Ed says.

sorry Tami... if i'm right, it'll be a little like when someone on jeopardy gives the correct answer but forgets to ask in the form of a question and then the next contestant pipes up with a "what is the war of 1812? mr. trebek..." and to think all you had to do to reap the glory that was yours for the taking was to add "mt." to your answer... :)
that is unless it really is mt. kansas...

mt. saskatchewan in the st elias?
what took so long? nah000 wins... sorry to blow the answer Mighty...
but I still think its silly to name peaks the same, and will lead to all sorts of confusion down...
Mt. Saskatchewan in Alberta
Mt. Saskatchewan in Kluane
Mt. Saskatchewan in New Brunswick
Mt. Saskatchewan in Ontario
etc...
and I can't wait to see what sandpile gets Mt. Saskatchewan in Saskatchewan
really?

Sheesh! The whole idea was to have some educational fun, and string everyone along.
Yes, it is Mount Saskatchewan in the Saint Elias Ranges. In Canada's centennial year (1967) it and adjoining peaks were named, one for each province and territory, in geographic order. All were attempted and most climbed as part of the "Expedition Yukon" that year. Mount Saskatchewan was attempted by a four-women team, and has been attempted four times since. Somewhat ironically, a peak named for perhaps our flattest province remains unclimbed. Perhaps that will change in Canada's tercentenary next year. It would be nice if a Canadian team, from Saskatchewan, got up the thing.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Saskatchewan_(Yukon);
There are numerous Bear/Glacier/Blue Lakes/Rivers/etc just in B.C. There are even two Mount Pilkingtons, one named for a president of The Alpine Club, one for a mountaineer from Vancouver (unrelated).
It makes perfect sense that there be a mountain at the head of the mighty Saskatchewan River named for it, and another mountain in the Centennial Range - far away - with the same name.

Mount Saskatchewan is probably one of the higher, if not the highest, unclimbed peak in Canada if not North America. However, it doesn't have wifi, so a modern multi-media ascent seems unlikely, however much the medium is supposedly the message. You can climb it, but we won't have to read about it on social media until you get home.
