What's so special?

Does it turn into wine after opening? If so, is it red or is it white?

The label shot shows a mellow, natural-appearing head of hair.

I prescribe Clinton. (Sanders would be better, but the side effects are severe).

The Clinton side effects include blindness, dyspesia and loss of moral compass.

The only cure for ingesting the contents of the Trump Hydration Pack (or even being within earshot) is Johnson/Weld tonic.

Has mislabeling been investigated?

The product purports to be ice, yet no ice is present at drinking temperatures, and it can't be extracted from the bottle in that state.

If it isn't intended to be ingested, the label should say so.

Trump: Tim Kaine was a lousy governor of New Jersey.

On Donald Trump's charge that he was a poor governor in New Jersey, Tim Kaine pleads guilty.

"Yesterday he said I was a lousy governor of New Jersey. And he's right. I wasn't even ever governor of New Jersey," Hillary Clinton's running mate told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Thursday.

Kaine, who served as governor of Virginia from 2006-2010, noted that point before taking another backhand swipe at the Republican nominee.
"But look, basic civics, 50 states. You have to give a guy a break who's only into politics the last few months and not that well-informed," the Virginia senator quipped.

Gallup poll reaction to Mr. Trump's speech at the Republican convention

The self-reported net impact of the GOP convention was also negative. Overall, 51% of Americans say the convention made them less likely to vote for Trump, while 36% said it made them more likely to vote for him. This is the highest "less likely to vote" percentage for a candidate in the 15 times Gallup has asked this question after a convention.

Trump's convention speech, which was received well by Republicans watching the event, did not sit as well with Independents. Just 30 percent of Independents who watched the speech said it was excellent or good, 29 percent said it was "just okay" and a 40 percent plurality said it was poor or terrible.

Trump may have just either leaked classified information about a secret US military base in Saudi Arabia or is complaining about paying rent on a base that has been closed for over a decade.

http://bipartisanreport.com/2016/07/29/breaking-hours-after-first-intelligence-briefing-trump-likely-leaked-classified-secrets/

Trump attended an intelligence briefing this afternoon in which he was told sensitive information for his own safety and for the safety of Americans. Within hours he was neck deep into one of his classic word salads when he proved Harry Reid and other Pentagon officials right.

In what was the biggest faux pas of his entire political career, Trump accidentally revealed sensitive and classified information about the locations of secret military bases. Trump arrogantly spoke to an audience at a Colorado Springs rally today, when he said that the U.S. should not have to pay rent for its military base in Saudi Arabia.

There’s just one problem with this. There isn’t supposed to be an American military base in Saudi Arabia. This revelation could and should mean huge consequences for Donald Trump, who has called for the arrest and indictment of Hillary Clinton for mishandling of classified emails.

Nobody has mentioned this little tidbit of shameful dooty;

Why do the media and pay tv corporations cover and broadcast sports in third world countries like Brazil that oppress and murder children?

These companies are greedy beyond the pale, just like Donald Trump. It is unpatriotic and despicable. They could try growing a pair and standing up for what is right, reporting the truth. They could show how the police in Rio have gunned down the kids in the streets in preparation for the 2016 Olympics, just to 'clean' things up for their guests like the nazis did with the Jews during WWII before their own Olympic events in Berlin in 1936. Let’s just say it: The Republicans are the problem

By Thomas E. Mann and Norman J. Ornstein
The Enterprise Inst.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/lets-just-say-it-the-republicans-are-the-problem/2012/04/27/gIQAxCVUlT_story.html

Today, thanks to the GOP, compromise has gone out the window in Washington. In the first two years of the Obama administration, nearly every presidential initiative met with vehement, rancorous and unanimous Republican opposition in the House and the Senate, followed by efforts to delegitimize the results and repeal the policies. The filibuster, once relegated to a handful of major national issues in a given Congress, became a routine weapon of obstruction, applied even to widely supported bills or presidential nominations. And Republicans in the Senate have abused the confirmation process to block any and every nominee to posts such as the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, solely to keep laws that were legitimately enacted from being implemented.

In the third and now fourth years of the Obama presidency, divided government has produced something closer to complete gridlock than we have ever seen in our time in Washington, with partisan divides even leading last year to America’s first credit downgrade.

On financial stabilization and economic recovery, on deficits and debt, on climate change and health-care reform, Republicans have been the force behind the widening ideological gaps and the strategic use of partisanship. In the presidential campaign and in Congress, GOP leaders have embraced fanciful policies on taxes and spending, kowtowing to their party’s most strident voices.

Republicans often dismiss nonpartisan analyses of the nature of problems and the impact of policies when those assessments don’t fit their ideology. In the face of the deepest economic downturn since the Great Depression, the party’s leaders and their outside acolytes insisted on obeisance to a supply-side view of economic growth — thus fulfilling Norquist’s pledge — while ignoring contrary considerations.

Our American media corporations know nothing, or they are turning a blind eye for profit.

The fallout from North Carolina's HB2 is a prime example of liberal hypocrisy. Corporations cancelled plans to expand operations in the state. Musicians cancelled concerts. Yet, they maintained commitments in states with similar laws. Many do business in countries with archaic human rights laws.

Moral outrage only matters if it can be milked.

Republican Caucus Room Meeting, destroy Obama's Presidential aspirations and legacy, Inauguration Day, Jan 21, 2009

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/republican-strategists-return-to-the-dinner-table-hungering-for-a-way-forward/2013/01/20/347794ea-61c6-11e2-b05a-605528f6b712_story.html

On inauguration night four years ago, pollster Frank Luntz organized a strategy session for leading Republicans at the Caucus Room, a steakhouse in downtown D.C. The widely reported dinner has become the creation myth of the Obama opposition, in which Luntz, former speaker Newt Gingrich, Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.), Paul Ryan (Wis.) and other leading Republican lawmakers from both chambers plotted how to confront the president. The Republicans giddily came away from the four-hour dinner with a plan to weaken Obama through blanket opposition. Also on their to-do list: wresting control of the House and Senate from Democrats and defeating Obama in 2012.

“We talked about strategically where we were and how to move forward,” said Gingrich, who addressed the lawmakers, who were arranged in a rectangle of dinner tables. “If he moved in one direction, we would have to be conciliatory. If he moved in the other direction, we could be very, very confrontational.”

Google "caucus room conspiracy" for more info on how the Republicans blocked any economic relief because Republican Loyalty to Obstruction of Obama is more important then the economic of the Nation,

While many here discuss with various points of view and arguments both heated and fun on our current state of affairs, I can't help and doodle with my imagination on what would be and what has been.

I wonder if humanity survives 450 more years would it be a bombed out wasteland with roving bands of mutants and mole people beneath ground, orchestrating battles by remote control with faces that have just one eye.

Or would we evolve into civil beings with altruistic leanings, and cities floating in the sky, our land preserved as pristine gardens tended by the progeny of you and I? Would my grand children have grandchildren who lived beyond a hundred, and did great things with their lives?

All these aspirations are reserved for us if we don't let our planet die.

Being leader of the free world requires a calm, level headed person who can be emotionally detached from the constant criticism that is part and parcel of being President.

From Mr. Trump's repeated, unhinged, despicable attacks on a Gold Star family, he has clearly demonstrated he is unfit to lead our country, much less command our military.

Even if he had a point, and he didn't, any person with an inkling of compassion and empathy would have shut their efffing mouth, thanked the Khan's for their sacrifice and let it go. Being so thin skinned that you cannot let any single thing go unchallenged is disqualifying as a trait in a national leader. How can any climber possibly consider voting Libertarian when the the LP calls for the abolishment of "...all federal programs and services not required under the U.S. Constitution."

That would mean no National Parks, no National Forests, no BLM, and no YOSAR, to name but a tiny few directly related to climbing. I'm sure we all have our beefs with each of these, but do you really think we'd be better without them at all?

Trad Eddie, the answer is simple. That platform requires an act of congress, which will not happen. Both Clinton and Trump have profound flaws that make them unsuitable as President. At least if we elect a climber (i.e. Johnson), we will have a president who needs to compromise to get anything (or any appointment) through congress.

Moreover, party platforms tend to be honored in their breach, even with the Democrats and Republicans. Compare Johnson with Trump or Clinton. He has more experience and a better temperment than Trump (talk about a low bar!), and his straightforward honesty and belief in the Bill of Rights stands in stark contrast to Clinton.

The problem with that logic is that you're voting for someone in the hope that he won't be able to implement any of his stated aims. We all realize that our party won't be able to implement all of our aims, but we hope to achieve some, the more, the better.

Shutting down government programs is well within the reach of executive authority, Ted Cruz did it, and he's only a Senator. Johnson would have four years of executive orders before we could do anything.

That's not to say I don't agree strongly with several parts of the LP platform, but the package as a whole is lunacy, and its position on corporate liberty in particular is a sell-out.

The bottom line:

From a recent article in the California State Bar Journal on recent developments in the US Supreme Court by Erwin Chemerinsky:

The future

Since 1960, 78 is the average age at which a Supreme Court justice has left the bench. There will be three justices 78 or older when the next president is inaugurated in 2017: Justices Ginsburg, Kennedy and Breyer. Especially if it is a two-term president, it seems likely that he or she will have several picks for the high court. Also, of course, it is uncertain as to who will replace Justice Scalia. For liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, one of the most important issues in the coming election is who will fill these vacancies on the Supreme Court.

Erwin Chemerinsky is dean and distinguished professor, Raymond Pryke Professor of First Amendment Law, at the University of California Irvine School of Law.

Riley post is bullsh#t, she didn't volunteer, she was appointed. She didn't laugh at the rape victim.

From Fact check:

Q: Did Hillary Clinton volunteer in 1975 to defend a rapist, who was found not guilty, and laugh about it in an interview in 1980?
A: Clinton defended an accused rapist, but she did not volunteer. He pleaded guilty to a lesser offense. She laughed when recalling unusual aspects of the case.
FULL QUESTION

Did Hillary Clinton volunteer to defend a child rapist in 1975, accuse the 12-year-old victim of fantasizing about older men, later state that she knew he was guilty but got the charges dropped and laugh?
FULL ANSWER

In 1975, Hillary Clinton — then known as Hillary Rodham — taught at the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she founded the University of Arkansas School Legal Aid Clinic. It was during this time that she defended Thomas Alfred Taylor, a 41-year-old man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.
In her book “Living History,” Clinton recalls that Mahlon Gibson, a Washington County prosecutor, told her that the accused rapist “wanted a woman lawyer” to defend him, and that Gibson had recommended Clinton to Judge Maupin Cummings. “I told Mahlon I really didn’t feel comfortable taking on such a client, but Mahlon gently reminded me that I couldn’t very well refuse the judge’s request.”
Gibson corroborated Clinton’s story in a 2014 interview with CNN.
CNN, June 25, 2014: Gibson said Clinton called him shortly after the judge assigned her to the case and said, “I don’t want to represent this guy. I just can’t stand this. I don’t want to get involved. Can you get me off?”

“I told her, ‘Well contact the judge and see what he says about it,’ but I also said don’t jump on him and make him mad,” Gibson said. “She contacted the judge and the judge didn’t remove her and she stayed on the case.”

In a separate 2014 interview, Clinton said she had an “obligation” to represent Taylor. “I had a professional duty to represent my client to the best of my ability, which I did,” she said.
In her book, Clinton writes that she visited Taylor in the county jail and he “denied the charges against him and insisted that the girl, a distant relative, had made up her story.” Clinton filed a motion to order the 12-year-old girl to get a psychiatric examination. “I have been informed that the complainant is emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing … [and] that she has in the past made false accusations about persons, claiming they had attacked her body,” according to an affidavit filed by Clinton in support of her motion.
Clinton also cited an expert in child psychology who said that “children in early adolescence tend to exaggerate or romanticize sexual experiences and that adolescents with disorganized families, such as the complainant’s, are even more prone to such behavior,” Clinton wrote in her affidavit.
Ultimately, expert testimony from a scientist “cast doubt on the evidentiary value of the blood and semen the prosecutor claimed proved the defendant’s guilt in the rape,” Clinton writes in her book. Clinton negotiated a plea deal and Taylor was charged with “Unlawful Fondling of a Child Under the Age of Fourteen” and was sentenced to one year in a county jail and four years of probation, according to a final judgment signed by Cummings.
In 2014, the Washington Free Beacon published the audio of an interview that Arkansas reporter Roy Reed conducted with Clinton in the 1980s. In the interview, Clinton recalls some unusual details of the rape case, and she can be heard laughing in three instances, beginning with a joke she makes about the accuracy of polygraphs.
Clinton: Of course he claimed he didn’t. All this stuff. He took a lie detector test. I had him take a polygraph, which he passed, which forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs. [laughs]

At another point, Clinton said the prosecutor balked at turning over evidence, forcing her to go to the judge to obtain it.
Clinton: So I got an order to see the evidence and the prosecutor didn’t want me to see the evidence. I had to go to Maupin Cummings and convince Maupin that yes indeed I had a right to see the evidence [laughs] before it was presented.

Clinton then said that the evidence she obtained was a pair of the accused’s underwear with a hole in it. Clinton told Reed that investigators had cut out a piece of the underwear and sent the sample to a crime lab to be tested, and the only evidence that remained was the underwear with a hole in it.
Clinton took the remaining evidence to a forensic expert in Brooklyn, New York, and the expert told her that the material on the underwear wasn’t enough to test. “He said, you know, ‘You can’t prove anything,'” Clinton recalled the expert telling her.
Clinton: I wrote all that stuff and I handed it to Mahlon Gibson, and I said, “Well this guy’s ready to come up from New York to prevent this miscarriage of justice.” [laughs]

The emails we have received about this case contain some misinformation. Some have claimed, for example, that Clinton volunteered for the case and the accused rapist was found not guilty. That’s not accurate, as we just explained. But Clinton did laugh in the retelling of some unusual aspects of the rape case, and we leave it to others to decide whether her laughter was appropriate or not.

On the tapes, Clinton, who speaks in a Southern drawl, appears to acknowledge that she was aware of her client’s guilt, brags about successfully getting the only piece of physical evidence thrown out of court, and laughs about it all whimsically.

“He took a lie detector test. I had him take a polygraph, which he passed, which forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs,” Clinton says on the recording, failing to hold back some chuckles.

For the victim, the tapes prove that while Clinton was arguing in the affidavit that the victim could have some culpability in her own attack, she actually believed that her client was guilty.

One of my best professors in grad school, Thomas Sowell, has some cogent observations about this election. Here are some excerpts:

"A President Trump could of course create a longer-lasting stigma [for the Republican party]. However, he might possibly be sobered up by the responsibilities of the presidency. But someone who has not matured in 70 years seems unlikely to grow up in the next 4 years."

"With Hillary Clinton as President and Democrats in control of the Senate, she can appoint Supreme Court justices with as much contempt for the law as she has demonstrated herself, and Senate Democrats would rubber-stamp her choices."

"Voting for an out of control egomaniac like Donald Trump would be like playing Russian roulette with the future of this country. Voting for someone with a track record like Hillary Clinton's is like putting a shotgun to your head and pulling the trigger. And not voting at all is just giving up."

"Nobody said that being a good citizen would be easy."

Nonsense. Put a climber in the White House. Vote Johnson/Weld.

I don't think so, apogee. Voting for Hillary is certain death for a Republican, but not necessarily for the country. Voting for Trump is possible death for both a Republican and the country. The only good choice for a Republican is to vote Johnson/Weld.

"Voting for Hillary is certain death for a Republican, but not necessarily for the country."

Why is it certain death? Because a Republican would be stoned to death by their fellow Republicans?

If you are referring to where the leadership of either candidate would lead the country as a whole, a Trump presidency would be certain death, whereas Hillary leadership could go a variety of directions.

The only lies are the ones that you are posting Radical

We already went through the lie about Hillary sleeping through Benghazi,
it was 3 pm in Washington, no one was asleep, so that was a LIE

and now lies FABRICATED by GOP Hit men (Roger Stone and Brietbart)
about Khan

Should be fun watching Mr. Khan's fan base evaporate as details of his work are exposed.

Maybe he is just a victim of rightwing propaganda. Maybe the Breitbart story is all lies. But the deletion of his business website (right after hitting the big time) does look a little hinky.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/jun/23/donald-trump/donald-trump-says-hillary-clinton-slept-through-be/

Trump said the Benghazi victims were "left helpless to die as Hillary Clinton soundly slept in her bed."

Clinton was not literally sleeping when the Benghazi attacks unfolded, as it was mid afternoon on a Tuesday in Washington. She worked late into the night, as is evidenced by an 11 p.m. email.

If we take Trump’s claim more broadly, that Clinton was inattentive throughout the hours in which the attacks occurred, none of the many congressional investigations into Benghazi have made that assertion.

We rate Trump’s claim False.

Who cares if she went Home
what was she going do, sit there for days?

if you didn't know yet, EVERYONE has cell phones Now!!
so if she was needed, they could call her!!!

Wow!

Why did Bush let 3000 die on 911
There were Jets all over the place

This was Downtown NY City
Not 1000s of miles from anything
He could of sent out Helicopters to the top of the buildings
and saved 100s of folks so easily

But no, he left them all to DIE
he sat in a room and read my pet Goat
then he jumped on a plane and stayed in the air until it was safe

and then he sent all his Bin Laden buddies secretly out of the country

as we watched in Horror

There was no way to help the guys in Benghazi, that has been proven to be TRUE

If you have any class or moral compass, you would do well to cut down on the insults and just stick to the issues you want to discuss.

so what if she was home. I really don't get your argument. Except that it is a troll. What possible good could her staying at her office have done? nothing. not one thing.

By 10:30 PM eastern time the attack was over. We had regained control of the situation. so what should she have done. Stayed and wrung her hands?

security forces regained control at 2:30 AM Benghazi time. There is a 6 hour time different between libya and washington DC. So it was 8:30 PM in Washington when security forces had retaken the embassy. The Ambassador had already been found.

I really don't get what you are saying Riley or why you are focusing on her going home to sleep. Do you ever sleep?

http://www.inquisitr.com/3367307/why-the-new-child-rape-case-against-gop-nominee-donald-trump-should-cost-him-the-2016-election/

'Jane Doe” claims that she had sexual contact with Trump on four different encounters during the summer of 1994. She alleged that she firmly asked (demanded) that Trump stop, and he refused.

[quote]“On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied me to a bed, exposed himself to me, and then proceeded to forcibly rape me. During the course of this savage sexual attack, I loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but he did not. Defendant Trump responded to my pleas by violently striking me in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted. Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed.”

Wait, the Taliban are a radical conservative Sunni sect - why would any money from Shia Iran or an Iranian be headed their way. From what I can see they were engaged in medicaid fraud and money laundering, not terrorism.

If you're talking about Khan then that just pales beyond obscenely low slander. It doesn't even rate a 'seriously'. How is it that otherwise thinking people can be pulled so hard to the fringe right on the basis on such swillery as this and tripe such as Benghazi? Unbelievable really.
