Hey!

I'm currently working on a exploratory research project looking to learn from climbers of all skill and interest levels to understand the climbing culture. In-person interviews will be taking place in San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City and Yosemite/Tahoe through July/August. Those selected to participate will be compensated for their time.

If you're interested, take a moment to fill out this survey and we will get back to you if we feel you're a good fit. https://goo.gl/xu2Ro3

Not that I really care but Ideo is a design consulting firm and almost certainly is not being contracted out to by an insurance company.

I filled it out.

Thanks for the clarification. :)

Compensated for time means "up to" $220, including expenses to get to San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City or Yosemite/Tahoe. That means it would cost me money to be selected.

Hey Mike, unfortunately yes we are only looking to talk to people who will be at those locations during those times. We may open up to phone calls and/or skype interviews in the future though.

They ain't even botherin' with the Canadians, Jim Bob. Shame on them.

There will be no great insights found by interviewing such whack jobs as we.
So please take that to your masters and then leave us be.

For we wish to keep on a-laughin' at your journalistic faux pas
When you cover climbing for the "average ma & pa."

If you begin to realize how cool we are, what is involved, and how many big bucks we make doin' this, then you'll want to join the "fun" and where will that lead?

Stick to readin' the funnies and writin' the fashion section.

F*#kya, Newbie.

It's not insurance. It's marketing. They want to know how often you climb, a description of your experiences and your loyalty to a half dozen brands. Insurance doesn't care about your brand preference.

...So for example, if you click that you prefer LuLu Lemon, and this is a LuLu Lemon Marketing Survey, they might pay you for your time to find out why you identify with the brand. For example.

^^^overwatch's endorsements are GOLD!

What are you demons waiting for?

Advert-sizers and sponsors should be beating down his door, bribing his dog, and scanning his climbing resume!

Oh, shouldn't have mentioned that...sorry. :0)
