Take your time over there, eh Bro..., and listen to your body. and i ain't talk'in bout your dick or your brain! Haha. When i broke my back(right here you can insert your own joke;) because it was a BrokeBack Mtn{biking} Moment) Yeah i got pics. Wish i had pics of you on the 23rd pitch of MM tho! Man that smile you had on,, looked like you learnt sumpin special up there..sorry for the thread drift, anyways, after i broke my back and as soon as i could start to move(after being nutted up tighter than the Columbia boulder for a few weeks on Petch's floor) i was just so happy to be able to move unpainfully, i stretched and exercised anything that didn't hurt to move, after the realization thati might not have ever been able to move again.
A rebirth ensued i never would have expected.

i know your gonna rise above this with higher hopes and aspirations than ever before

Well, girls and boys, visiting a friend in an extended care rehab ICU can sometimes be a joyous happening, although I realize that is not always the case....

I was in Boise ID yesterday, and had the chance to make my way to the ICU of Vibra Hospital of Boise to visit with Brain and brother Zane.....

The Captain writes 'Thank's all for your heart felt thought's. Sometimes entropy can be reversed some (but not always), so BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!!!!

I think this is what Brian wrote....

This is for all, including Tami, that have sent a card(s) to BKB when he was at St Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, before he was transferred to Vibra Hospital of Boise:

I just spoke with the person @ St Alphonsus who supervises those dealing with mail coming in to patients at St Alphonsus.

If that patient is no longer at St Alponsus, mail would go to their home address, or be sent to Vibra Hospital of Boise, if that is what the patient or their family has arranged.

SO, ALL MAIL SENT TO BRIAN WILL GET TO HIM EVENTUALLY, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!

Okay, that is all, as you were.....

Umm, I'm just gonna leave this here;
Entropy

en·tro·py
ˈentrəpē/
noun
1.
PHYSICS
a thermodynamic quantity representing the unavailability of a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work, often interpreted as the degree of disorder or randomness in the system.
2.
**lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder.

synonyms: deterioration, degeneration, crumbling, decline, degradation, decomposition, breaking down, collapse; disorder, chaos

"life is a struggle against entropy"

- Entropic theory - everything goes to schit - eventually - inevitably -

Yer gonna Die, ;~> (just not yet!, ya' scary guy)

do they advise you what to do...

take it easy, etc, with the voice, 'til it has rested up, from
all the tube work etc...

or, keep the tissues moist, by getting enough water, daily, etc...

hope you are getting well, here, with voice, as well as body...

keeping the prayers, up...
say, do they give you a 'time frame' for the agitation, or, the
'whisper' phase, to be over??

can you eat much, or very well, yet?

Skully, this reminds me of one of the rare stories my Dad told me about his service in WWII - like a lot of those guys, he didn't like to talk about the war.

Anyway the war ended for him in the South Pacific when shrapnel from a bomb blew off his jaw/moth area. He was shipped to the long term rehab hospital in Framingham, MA where he spent over a year. They rebuilt his face/jaw with multiple surgeries and he had his jaw wired shut for a long time. He couldn't eat or drink for over a year. The story he used to tell was how wonderful it was to drink a class of cold milk as the first thing by mouth after a year.

You are REALLY going to enjoy that beer!!! And you'll never take such a simple thing as taking a drink for granted for the rest of your life. That is surely a silver lining in this passing storm.

Dude, that has to be a tough nut to swallow. Sorry for the pun but i could not imagine the patience involved in your recovery. Keep it up, brother, I'm cheering for you. I think most must just take for granted the simple act of swallowing until they can't. Kinda like being on El Cap and having enough water or a flat place with a seat to take a crap.

When you can, you are invited to come up to my new place in the NE corner of Washington and enjoy some country living in the Okanogan Highlands.

Hey Captain Kirk! glad to hear your progressing! Learning how to swallow,eh?
Yeah, My baby daughter wouldn't take to the nipple for a couple days, Doc said, she didn't know how to swallow. i said, "GOOD!" Ha. Muscle memory can be our friend, or it can be a bitch! In college we used to practice rowing a boat by siitting on a stool with our eyes closed and talking through the motion.. i just swallowed 3 pbr's without thinking twice and it's not even 3 o'clock!HaHa. i'm happily to say i've been progressing too, as of late.. somuch so, i'm treating myself to a Yo-se-mite visit! i'm packing right now. i figure the Facelift is bout as good as reason as any to demise my 20yr hiatus... Good god, IT'S BEEN THAT LONG! i'm skeered! Where's camp4 now? What's a bearbox?? did they move ElCap???
