Hey!

My name is Anna and I live in Scotland. I've booked flights out to Yosemite for a month, but my partner for the first 10 days unfortunately had to cancel! Lots of people have said its easy to find partners at camp 4, but it would be great to set something up in advance if anyone is free.

I arrive to San Francisco airport at 3pm on Monday 23rd May. I will be hiring a car for the whole month, so can pick people up etc!

I am keen for any type of climbing, but particularly keen to do some big wall classics! I've never done any big wall aid climbing, but have been practising lots of rope skills at home. I've done loads of trad climbing over the past 10 years, and long routes in lofoten / dolomites. Gradewise, in scotland I lead trad E3/4 and sport climb F7a/b, but I understand that the style in yosemite is a totally different ball-game and ive not dont much crack climbing!

What I lack in experience i promise i make up for in enthusiasm and psyche!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed... message me at a.wells@dundee.ac.uk or facebook https://www.facebook.com/anna.wells.58

Anna,

Your best bet is to come out and immediately look at the partner postings on the camp 4 board. That way you can screen people out in person. There are always LOTS of people looking for partners.
